Nick Fury's POV
I walk dow the hallway of a specialized prison unit in S.H.I.E.L.D, I walk over to the lock and swipe my card before entering with my guards behind me
I look at the prisoner we have in our prison facing away from me as I walk in, I pull over the microphone and press the sound button before speaking
"Agent 43" I say, I watch as her head raises up and she stands up tall before turning to me with a small smirk
"Nick Fury" She says as she crosses her arms
"Today's your lucky day......your being released" I say with a small smile
"What's the catch Fury" she says as she comes closer to the edge of the glass closest to me, I walk up to her and smirk knowingly
"Your joining a team of good guys Agent 43, I think you'll be pleased to see some of the people involved" I say
"Well let me out and we'll see if I'm a team player" She says with a head tilt, I sigh and walk back to the top of the stairs
"Alright guards, get this crazy son of a bitch out of that cage" I say to my 10 guards before turning around
I hear the doors open and I hear a series of guns falling and groans following after causing me to sigh as I turn to the closed door to see it open and Agent 43 walking out with cuffs on
"You can just not kick someone's ass can you" I say and she just shrugs and I walk away with her following close behind me....I hope I don't regret this

I lead Agent 43 to the training room, I watch as she looks around and marvels at the knife selection and the staff till finally eyes land on the shield we lashed out for her
"You guys found it" She says as she walks over to it and picks it up
"It was in the crash with you and Cap, we found it across the aircraft you both were in" I say as Agent 43 marvels at the shield and examines it
"I'm guessing that Captain Slave country is apart if this team" I say causing Nick to laugh
"Yes he is apart of it.....you two are going to have to make a mends quick because we need you both" I say hoping she won't back out
"It's been years since everything happened.......I'm not sure I'm the one you have to worry about holding a grudge now am I in here to train or to go down memory lane again" She says and I nod and press a button
Door open at every end of the room with highly trained and capable agents walking out prepared to fight, I look to Agent 43 to see her looking at everyone and I see that look in her eye appear causing me smile
"Have fun Agent 43" I say before exiting the room as I hear combat begin behind me
Time skip
I sit at my desk in my office doing some appear work when I hear my door open, I don't even look up and I know who it is
"Ever heard of knocking Agent 43" I say before looking up and seeing Agent 43 with a scratch on her face but that really being her only wound
"Well no one in this facility seems to Wanna speak to me so I searched this place to look for you" She says before sitting down
"Now Fury you owe me something since I'm joining your little team" She says and I put my pen down
"Ok well what do I owe you Agent" I say in an amused tone
"Who else am I working with besides Fairy Rogers" She says
"Thor....a god from Asgar, Hawkeye......a master at shooting an arrow, Black widow....an assassin just like yourself, Captain America like I said earlier and.......Tony Stark" I say, I watch as her face changes when I mention Starks name
"The dear ole son huh, I'll be happy to meet him....I hope his father isn't ashamed of me even though he can't show it to anyone anymore" She says sadly
"Howard would be proud of his creation, meaning you and Tony and Abraham would be too" I say and Agent 43 just waves me off
"Maybe but I only became this way when both were taken from me.....the only family I knew and now I have to face his son and Captain America who decided that my rights weren't what mattered" Agent 43 says
"Are you sure you worked on the grudge Agent" I say causing her to sigh
"Your know you can say my actual name" She says
"Fine.......Harley, you will be pleased to work with them but I want you to be on your best behavior because you have a team and that means being selfless" I say, she laughs a little,w and shakes her head
"Starting to regret signing up for this so quickly....especially since I know there's a catch to me being released" Harley says
"And what is that" I say leaning back into my seat, she looks at me with an angry expression before shaking her head
"I'm only out so I can be apart of the team and if I refused then I'd still be locked up in my prison cell" She says causing my face to fall but I fix it before leaning back up
"You went through the files didn't you" I say and she just smirks
"Had to make sure what I was signing up for wasn't something I'd regret which honestly.....after seeing all of that I have no choice but to be apart of it because I don't want to be held captive" Harley says
"Well then how about you meet the team.....since you already know the specifics of your contract, you might as well sign it and meet your new friends" I say while sliding her the contract
Harley picks up the pen and reads it over multiple times and even takes a picture of it before signing it and sliding it back to me and I take it and store it with everyone else's
"Welcome to the Avengers Agent 43" I say and she just nods and walks out of my office, I let out a breath and look over my desk and my papers

I sigh and put the papers away in a locked safe before carrying on with my day
A/n ok well this is the Avengers story and so far it's not bad but I'm still trying to be accurate with everything and I hope I'm not contradicting anything because I don't wanna get roasted in the comments for not knowing a lot on the MCU
