Chapter Four: New Friends

Later that same day

Harley's POV

I sit outside the enlistment place shaking my head, I can't believe that man had the audacity to call me that and reject me for no reason

"You ok" I hear causing me to look over, I see Steve standing there looking at me nervously with his hands in his pockets

"Yea....I'm good....just just not used to that" I say as I wipe my face and stand up form standing against the wall

"Well you wanna head to the movies, maybe it'll cheer you" He says and I smile a it and nod

"Yea sure...I'd like that" I say as I wrap my hand around Steve since he's a bit shorter than me

"By the way...I got rejected too so don't feel too bad plus that guy is an asshole" Steve says causing me to laugh a bit, Steve and I head to the movie theater and pay for our tickets before making our way in the movie theater

"I heard this movie is about the nazi" Steve says as we sit down

"Yea....I kind of wish I could fight in this fight" I say as I watch the war propaganda movie

"We will...just have a feeling" He says and I smile a bit and we watch the film, as we watch a guy behind us keeps making comments causing me to roll my eyes

"Do you mind" Steve says to the guy causing me to look at him like he's stupid

"What are you going to do dork" The guy says threateningly

"You'll have to go through me" I say standing up for Steve, the guy laughs and looks me up and down

"Awww you his girlfriend nigger.....meet me outside and see what happens" The guy says and I nod and look at Steve who is putting on a tough act like me

Time skip

I groan fall into the trash cans, I watch as Steve throws a punch but is punched instead and falls beside me

I get up and go to hit the guy but he kicks me in the stomach, I see Steve pick up a trash can lie and use it like a shield so I do the same with the other

The asshole laughs and grabs the lids from us and shoves us into the brick wall next to us , I get up and wipe my lip as I look at him with an evil look

"Just don't know when to quit huh" He says cockily

"I can do this all day" I say before throwing a punch and landing him in the jaw, I falls back a bit but I see him take something out of his pocket but before he can do anything, a guy in his fatigue comes over to us and pull the guy away from me

"Pick on someone your own size" He says, the douchebag who was about to stab or shoot me, throws a punch at the solider but he dodges it and punches him then kicks his ass...literally

"You ok" He says and I nod as I look over to Steve, I help him up as he wipes his lip and look at the soldier

"Hey Bucky" Steve says
