Chapter Three: The Start of it all

1918

"Imani we have to go quickly, they're on to us" Harley Sr says as he runs around the house and gets all of there money and the vibrainium they have collected and stolen

"I have everything, I have to go get Harley" Imani says as she runs up the stairs to her sons room, she runs in to see her son peacefully sleeping in his bed

Imani runs over and picks him up along with his diaper bag and some of his toys before running downstairs to see her husband standing by the door, Harley look over and put a finger to his lips as he listens out for something

"They're here...we have to leave now but though the back" He says before grabbing his wife's arm and pulling her with him to the back of the house they once called home

The small family run through the woods as they try to escape the Wankandian people who are storming their house, the family makes it to a highway and see a car coming towards them

Harley pulls out a gun and points it to the car as they drive towards him, the person slams on the breaks and stops the car as Harley goes over to the driver seat and knocks the window out before unlocking the car and pulling the poor man out of his car

Imani gets in the passenger seat and Harley gets in the driver before peeling off down the road, they speed through traffic and run many lights as they rush to the only person they know will help them

And keep Harley Jr safe

Harley busts through the gates of Howard Starks house before slamming on the breaks and getting out quickly with Imani coming with him as they make it to the door

The couple look at each other in fear and great sadness as they look from each other to their child who's now awake and looking around

"I love you son....be good for Mr.Stark please and know we loved you and need you away from our mistakes.....I love you Jr" Harley says as he kisses his sons head and looks to his wife's who's holding onto her baby tightly and crying immensely

"Baby we have to go...they'll find us soon" Harley says to his wife who shakes her head, Harley sighs and pries his son out of his wife's grasp and looks at her as she shakes violently and cries

"I love you Jr......I hope to see you in another time, mama loves you" Imani says she kisses her sons head and looks to her husband who looks just as broken as she does before jumping back into the car, Harley Sr looks to his son who smiles at him with a toothless smile

Harley Sr smiles sadly before laying his son on the top step next to the door before laying the vibrainum next to him and the note they had written before hand

Harley pounds on the door before running to the car and speeding off into the night knowing he and his wife would never see their son again in the flesh... but from heaven

Howard wakes up and look around before looking to his hook up who looks frightened as well, Howard quickly gets up and gets a bat and walks downstairs with his girl of the night as they make their way to the door

"I'll call the guards" The women says before going to the phone in the living room and Howard nods and goes the door and opens it carefully and sighs when he sees nothing
