I smiled, unable to control my content feelings. This was it. I could finally kill him. The man that caused me and the world so much pain and trouble. The man that caused me to lose my job, my boss, my partner, and myself. The man I became a heartless, killer soldier for. I could finally take my revenge, and I plan too.

I held the gun up, aiming at his head. I saw the terror in his eyes. He knew. He knew this was it. He trained me so well and now it was coming back to bite him.

"I didn't ever have a chance, did I?"

"A chance?"

"To turn you, to make you evil. I knew from the start you were not really evil. I had a tracker in you, a microphone. I heard and saw everything. I was playing you. But now I really want to know, did I ever stand a chance to turn you?"

"The sad thing is once you did. I was fixed on the power you were giving me. I went blind to it and I did so many things I regret. But this one, this kill, I won't regret."

"Go ahead, pull the trigger add another ghost to haunt you. Kill me. You don't actually have the guts to."

"Oh, but I do." I pulled the trigger. He was dead, and my troubles were over. I felt happier than I have in a long time.
