I hand my master a cup off of the serving tray filleed with milk, with a dash of honey. I say in my most respectful tone,
"Here is your milk with honey, young master. Please enjoy!"
Ciel elegantly takes the cup and starts to sip it. He sighs and says,
"You know, before our contract, when Tanaka took care of me, I wasn't allowed to have any sweets. Not even when needed something to soothe my throat."
I tell him,
"I'm sure Tanaka had your best interests in mind, but I figured it was okay for today to have something sweet for breakfast. After all, it's December and the winter months usually don't treat you too well."
Ciel sips more milk and replies,
"That is true, Sebastian. Thank you."
I bow and he puts the cup, now empty, back on the saucer. He tells me,
"So, what's the schedule for today?"
I explain that he's got a meeting with the queen at 2 o'clock and that we need to brush up on an investigation from a few days prior.
