"Are you out of your goddamn mind!" When I heard Jasper's familiar voice above me, I looked at him without releasing the person.

"What? This person... Whoever it is... was going to attack me!"

"At least see this 'person's' face before pinning him down to the ground." The pinned down person said. I looked at his face to see that it was Mark whom I had pinned down. What the hell is he doing here? Wasn't he in Alaska last time I tracked him?

"Well, why didn't you call out to me like a normal person?"

"You really think I didn't do that? I knew you might hit me and knock me out but still, I took that damn risk to get you out of your trance."

"I know it's my fault, but you should've tried harder, like call me a 100 times more, I surely would have heard you at least once." I kept my tab inside the bag and slinged it on my shoulder.

"Well I would have if there wasn't going to be a snow storm in the next few hours. I mean it has even started to snow. How didn't you even notice the lowering of temperatures?" I concentrated so hard to finish this that I didn't even realise that it had started to snow again.

"Let's get out of here. I can't tell you what happened over here." It wasn't feasible for us to have discussion over here. Anyone could hear us and that would be a big trouble for us.

"Where's Chelsea? And how did you get here so fast?" Jasper asked.

"What do you mean so fast? It took me and Chels 3¾ hours to get here. And Chels is at the beach house." Almost 4 hours passed by? Damnit, I have to stop zoning out and focus on my surroundings. We started to walk back to the hotel while Jasper inquired about what all they did in Alaska.

"Riley was fed up with your attitude and ordered me to get you back to the beach house."

"She's fed up being here in Key West and also with humidity and sand, I bet." Mark chuckled and nodded at Jasper's statement.

When we were inside the private elevator I realized Jasper was empty-handed. And he didn't tell anyone to keep his package at the penthouse. "Jasper, why are you empty handed? Didn't you run off like a little kid to get your delivery?"

"It is at his penthouse. I received and kept it there, after which I started to look for you both since you weren't at the penthouse." Mark replied as we all entered the elevator.

"And I didn't ran off like a little kid." Jasper grunted, making Mark chuckle again.

"Why are you here though? Something went wrong?" Jasper asked. He nodded and replied, "Something was wrong there. We were being watched."

"Did Chelsea realise that?" Jasper asked.

"Kukula bal nahi aahe ti ki tila kahich samjnar nahi." I muttered to myself an the next moment, I was pressed against the elevator wall.

"I'm warning you for the last fucking time. Don't test my fucking patience and say what you want to in English. So, what were you saying, hmmm?"

"I said she isn't a little baby, that she wont know what's going on around her." I knew he was surprised that I gave him the answer easily. I was too, but I'm not gonna slip up.

"So, it wasn't that hard to confess now, was it? I know you're also shocked about giving your answer so quickly, which is why I know what you just said is the truth... Venere."

"Whatever." How the fuck did he know? Looks like he's also stepping up at reading people's faces.

"Are you both done romancing? Because we are your penthouse." Mark grumbled. I pushed Jasper away and entered the penthouse and Jasper and Mark went to Jasper's room. I sat on the sofa immediately and closed my eyes, trying to forget that almost accident. But all I could think was the very incident that was the reason for my acrophobia.
