Vader's point of view

Six months have passed since the events on Bespin. Commander Quelan was doing well with the Angel, keeping the Angel's reputation intact. I couldn't help but be impressed by his skill, doing this without mental communication. He gave me full reports on the situation of the destroyer, knowing my affection for it. For what it stood for. On the other hand, my wife had been quite attentive to me, bringing me the happiness that I had missed so much since her death. Unfortunately, the shadow of her departure occupied my mind. And the emptiness that will follow, afterwards. Alone again, without her light to guide me through my darkness.

"I'm always with you, my love"

Her voice....I let her voice cradle my heart, hoping to see her. Finally, it appeared, translucent and hooded. It was sizzling, but she gave me a tender smile

Kyria: You are coming back, my love".

Me: Oh...Kyria...I was so lonely...

Kyria: You were because you were in the darkness of the dark side".

I looked at her, in amazement.

Me: What...what do you mean?

Kyria: I was always with you, Anakin. But you took refuge in your rage and grief, sinking into the darkness. You couldn't see me, but I was always there, trying to call you. But nothing helped. I had to find a solution.

Me: Is it...is it you who brought your past?

Kyria: I had a lot to do with it. The Force wanted to grant my wish.

I bowed my head, already feeling my grief returning

Me: But when she leaves, I will be alone again. With my regrets, my sadness and my guilt.

Kyria: No, Anakin. I am still here.

Me: But you belong in the light! Forever beyond my reach.

Kyria: That's not true, and you know it. You're already starting to come back, but you don't want to see it.

Me: I hope you're right...

Kyria: I trust you. That's why I want to teach you how to become a ghost. So that we can be together forever.

Oh...How I wish that were true....Unfortunately, I'm afraid that the trust Kyria placed in me was too great, compared to the reality. I didn't dare to tell her, but I couldn't see how I could go back to the light after all I had done.

However, I didn't dare to tell him. In order to enjoy the unique moments, with her. Because I knew that these moments were too precious, to be wasted.

Leia's point of view

Shmi had continued her training, teaching us to better master the fighting forms. She was impressed with our progress, saying that it took years to master. I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride, thinking that I had surpassed our older sister in this area.

Well...I finally accepted that this woman was my family. Over time, I had discovered that she loved Luke and me deeply. Sometimes, a little too much, for my taste. It was borderline if she locked us in a room to keep an eye on us. After much negotiation, she conceded to allow us some freedom, although she had us under her watch. Kyria had never been so overprotective of us.
