I'm back! With the arrival of Endor, opening the second act of the film. And things are about to get complicated for the Skywalkers and the Rebel Alliance. Feel free to vote (if you liked it) or comment.

Luke's point of view

I was getting ready to go to the shuttle, when a voice called out to me

Voice: Hey Farmboy!

I turned my gaze to see the fiery-haired woman approaching me. She looked at me with her worried chocolate brown eyes. Her orange pilot's outfit revealed her future role in the battle to come. On her right arm was a gray helmet with a Rebellion symbol painted in red, just above her yellow visor.

Mara: I heard you were going on this mission.

Me: I am.

She looked at me, pouting.

Mara: I haven't seen you in a year, and you're already leaving? Do I scare you that much?

I couldn't help but smile at her touching reflection.

Me: No. But we all have our responsibilities, you know?

Mara: Don't talk about it! I would have preferred to see you with us, to be honest.

Me: My destiny lies elsewhere, Mara. But I want you to know that I will be with you.

Mara smiling: Is that a statement, farmboy?

I couldn't help but blush, not daring to admit that she was right.

Mara: Just come back alive, Skywalker.

Me: I'll do my best to. And you too, Mara.

She smiled at me and gave me a tender kiss, before starting to walk away.

Me: Mara.

She turned to me with a questioning look on her face.

Me: May the Force be with you.

Mara smiled: You too, farmboy.

And with that, she walked away from me. I couldn't take my eyes off of her until her figure disappeared from my vision.

Leia's point of view

Luke: Shmi, what are you doing?

Turning my gaze, I saw her take the cockpit, next to Chewie. Chewie didn't seem too happy to see her, but our sister didn't care.

Me: Shmi, I think...

Shmi: I'm not moving.

Luke: Why?

She started to raise the bridge and turn on the engines

Han: You fired up the engines and... Wait. What are you doing here?

Shmi: First come, first served, Captain.

Han: Is this a joke?

I was rolling my eyes. Shmi... Seriously?

Shmi: Look... I haven't flown in a year. Let me have some fun!

Han: Except we don't trust you.

Shmi: Well, you should, Captain, for once.

He opened his mouth, before a sign from me interrupted him. I knew Shmi wouldn't betray us, because of the agreement with the Alliance. And with Palpatine present, she would be even less open to that desire. Han sighed, before moving to the back.

Han: I hope she can fly, at least.

Shmi laughed: You'd be surprised, Captain. I used to drive a speeder when I was ten years old.
