Ssn2 : Insert Twenty-Two

Well alot happened these past few weeks. I haven't seen Musa since the meeting , it doesn't help that we on holiday so maybe she went to Cape Town with her parents. My big sisters have been scarce and I know it has to do with their men but I'm happy that they happy. Brandon and I spoke about the loss of our baby and poured our hearts out so we good now but as friends.

As I'm walking to the kitchen , I catch a glimpse of dad singing for while they dance.

He sings and mom is blushing like crazy even her cheeks are pink. They kiss and I start clapping.

Dad : "Ay wena ngane!"  I laugh at his frustrated face.

Me : "That was beautiful Muzi."

Dad : "Hello? Who am I? Psssh ungithatha kancane wena."  I couldn't help but laugh at him , mom joins me. Dad then puts on some music and they start dancing , totally ignoring me. Lapho dad is still in his pyjamas and mom is in a cotton short and a sport bra. That's when I notice her bump.

Me : "Mom!"  They look at me

Mom : "drama?"

Me : "You never told us that we getting a new sibling."   She smiles at me.

Mom : "was gonna tell y'all tomorrow."  I roll my eyes at her. Eventually everyone comes down and mom , the girls and I help her bake while dad , Lando , Mihlali and the boys watch TV.

Mom : "so.. you guys have been scarce and I know it's men! So spill."  Sis'Zamo is the first one to giggle.

Khanyi : "Me and Lumko are back together." She blurts out. Mom laughs.

Mom : "I have been waiting for this day. Baby we all kind of expected for it to happen."

Khanyi : "whatever." She laughs rolling her eyes.

Khanya : "Me and Asante are going good. He's a great boyfriend. He wants me to meet his family." 

Mom : "I'm glad he's serious. And wena Zamo?"

Zamo : "Uhm I met this guy a long while ago and he's a dream. He's everything I ever wanted."

Mom : "but?"

Zamo : "he's a little older than me."

Mom : "how old?"

Zamo : "like 10 years older."

Mom : "Why does it bother you if y'all love each other?"

Zamo : "I don't know but I was mostly scared of you guy's reaction."

Mom : "as long as you happy baby then I'll support you. Y'all are allowed to make mistakes and learn from them. If y'all don't no if WE don't expect you guys to do any wrongs and only be perfect all the time then we would only be pushing y'all away and not letting you guys be true to yourselves. As y'all go on making mistakes y'all are learning and growing from them. Your happiness should really be y'alls first priorities because nobody can really give you happiness if it don't start with you creating your own. Mistakes are there for us to learn from them , to shape us into a better person in future besides nobody really should dictate how you should live your life. Mina I'll always be y'alls number one supporter , if you happy then just know I'll always be behind you even if you think you gay or whatever I won't crucify you but I'll let you explore your sexuality until you figure it out , you want to marry a man older than me , fine as long as you happy. Just know that if ever we don't agree with something y'all want it's because we love you guys and we not trying to control y'all." 

Khanyi : "You are a great mom."

Melo : "Yeah. You are an awesome mother and I thank God everyday for giving me a chance to have a loving mother and who also happens to be you. Thank you for loving me even after everything Nandipha did to you."  Mom wipes her tears and goes to hug her.

Mom : "I love you." She kisses her cheek.

Melo : "I love you too sthandwa sababa."  Mom blushes.

Mom : "So vele wena Melo noNdabe , y'all don't have any love stories , drama whatever happening?" 

Melo : "Well I recently broke up with my boyfriend. He was screwing my bestfriends."

Zamo : "did you just say bestfriends? As in more than one friend?"

Melo : "Yeah but I don't care anymore. It's his loss."

Us : "Yesss girl."  We hype her and she flips her hair dramatically.

Khanyi : "Ndabe?"

Me : "argh! I have nothing going on plus I haven't met any boy that could sweep me of my feet."  They laugh.

Zamo : "and what happened to Brandy?"

Me : "We recently spoke about my miscarriage and we've came to accept it and we good as friends."  They all look at me.

Me : "what?"

Khanya : "so you actually believe that you could maintain being friends with your ex worse he got you pregnant."

Me : "Yes actually."

Mom : "We'll see. Yazi nihlulwa uLando , she has a boyfriend."  We all laugh.

Melo : "Kevin?"

Mom : "yeah. She told you too huh?"

Melo : "Yeah. She first asked how do you if a boy likes you and I told her that dad likes you are stuff and she was like 'Kevin likes me too' and the way she was blushing. Yoh!"  We all laugh.

Khanyi : "I'm so not ready for all the boy talks woth Hlali."

Mom : "you better be since bayiSkeem noLando."  We laugh at the Khanyi as she frowns.

Khanyi : "Yoh ay!"

Mom : "on some other news I'm 8 going to 9 months pregnant."  She says awkwardly smiling nervously. They all jump on her since I already know.
