you look up when you see haruko's eyes staring at you. "what do you mean?"

you close your history textbook. you weren't even paying attention anyway so might as well stop reading.

"suna-boy was literally hanging over you and whispering things in your ear. now i don't know if you're aware, but to me that looks like something more than friends."

"suna-boy? seriously?"

haruko shrugs and nods, "yes, i just decided that i'll call him suna-boy."

you chuckle at your best friend's words, "that's terrible. but you know me and suna are just friends. how long have we known each other for? you know suna and i are nothing more than friends."

"it seemed like more, just saying!"

ah, of course. always haruko with his words that mean nothing.

but you know why he's saying these things, because it did look like suna was whispering words in your ear.

it just wasn't about something weird or something loving, or whatever haruko might think.

suna came to your current place where you were studying in your free period. he needed some information about atsumu, because atsumu is an asshole and was shouting weird things about a summer camp. only there is no summer camp, and suna wanted to clear that up. but with that, since atsumu and osamu were sitting meters away from you, he was whispering and hanging a bit towards you.

nothing special, just two pals talking about another pal.

and haruko always thinks there is something more because he thinks it's funny to think about.

"so what were you doing, y/n?"

haruko sits down next to you and leans over your textbook, opening it and widening his eyes. "wait, do we have homework for physics?"

you nod, "yes? you didn't know?"

he shakes his head and then falls down on the table. "no, i didn't know! otherwise i wouldn't ask, do i?"

you chuckle and grab your notebook, handing it to him. "if you not fill in some of the questions you can copy my homework, haru."

he widens his eyes with a smile and wraps his arms around you, "thank you! oh my god, y/n you are a hero."

"i know. now write, we have physics in half an hour."
