"Y/n! I'm back," Gally called, walking into your house in the Safe Haven.

"Hey," You said, standing up with a huge smile. "How was your first time?"

"I..." Gally hesitated.

You pull him onto the couch.

"Tell me about it. Did you talk to the new therapist?" You ask softly.

"Yeah."

"And?"

"He was... nice."

"Just nice?" You prodded.

Gally hesitated. You could tell that something was wrong.
"Are you ok?" You asked.

"Can I hold you?"

"Of course!" You exclaimed, curling up in Gally's arms. He held you tightly, kissing your hair.

"You were right," He mumbled into the top of your head.

"I usually am," You replied.

He chuckled a little.

"I'm serious," Gally said.

"I'm right about what?" You ask.

"Remember a while ago you said I was... toxic?"

You pull away to look in Gally's eyes.

"I apologized for that, Gally. I was angry. I didn't mean it."

"But you were right," Gally said, looking more ashamed than you had ever seen him.

"You were right about all of it. I am possessive and controlling. I do have anger issues. Talking to the therapist... we talked a lot about you. And... how I am making you feel."

"And what did he say?" You asked quietly.
"He said that... well, that you're right. The way I've been treating you has been awful. Remember when you said that I expect you to read my mind? You were right. I've been expecting you to know what I'm thinking and feeling without telling you... It's wrong, y/n. And I'm sorry."

"Oh, Gally," You sigh, hugging him tightly again.

"I'm really... sorry," Gally said, his voice cracking as he spoke. You rested your head on his chest, not looking up. You knew he didn't like you to see him cry.

"I forgive you," You whisper, and hear him sharply exhale.

"I'll do better," Gally promised.

"I know."

"I love you."

"I love you, too. So much."

You pulled away then, and kissed Gally, ignoring the stray tears on his cheeks.
