The tension between you and Minho had been building all day. It started with a disagreement over running the Maze, a few sharp words exchanged, and then spiraled into a full-blown argument in front of everyone. It wasn't like you to lose your temper, especially with Minho, but the stress of Glade life had pushed you to your limit.

Afterward, you felt a pang of regret. The fight left you feeling drained and upset. Minho had stormed off to cool down, but you couldn't shake the feeling that you needed to get away, too. So, you did what you often did when things got too overwhelming—you found your way to a secluded spot, climbed the nearest sturdy tree, and hid among the branches.

The leaves provided a small sense of comfort, the swaying of the tree in the breeze like a gentle lullaby. But your heart still ached, and the words you exchanged with Minho echoed in your mind.

You weren't sure how much time had passed when you heard footsteps below. You held your breath, hoping whoever it was wouldn't notice you.

"Y/N?" Minho's voice called softly. You peeked through the leaves and saw him standing at the base of the tree, looking up. He had that determined look on his face—the one he got when he wouldn't let something go.

"I know you're up there," he said, a bit louder this time. "Come on, don't make me climb up there."

You hesitated, but eventually, you shifted, causing the branches to rustle. Minho sighed in relief when he spotted you, though he made no move to climb up. Instead, he leaned against the trunk, looking up at you with a mix of frustration and concern.

"We need to talk," he said, his tone softer now. "I didn't mean for things to get so heated."

You didn't answer right away, unsure of what to say. The guilt of your argument still weighed heavily on you.

"Y/N, please," he pleaded, "I hate fighting with you."

You finally looked down at him, meeting his eyes. "I just needed some space," you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.

Minho nodded, understanding. "I get that. I really do. But I also want to fix this. We're a team, right? We can't just run away from each other when things get tough."

You sighed, knowing he was right. The Glade was hard enough without adding personal conflicts to the mix. Slowly, you began to climb down from the tree, and Minho stepped back to give you room. When you reached the ground, he was there, waiting.

For a moment, the two of you just stood there, the remnants of your argument lingering between you. But then Minho stepped closer, closing the distance, and pulled you into a tight hug.

"I'm sorry," he murmured into your hair. "I shouldn't have let it get that far."

"I'm sorry too," you whispered back, hugging him just as tightly. "I didn't mean what I said. I just... everything feels so overwhelming sometimes."

Minho pulled back slightly, just enough to look into your eyes. "I know. We're all on edge here. But we've got to stick together, okay? We can't let this place get to us."

You nodded, feeling the tension slowly start to ease. "Yeah. We're a team."

"Always," Minho said with a small smile, and you couldn't help but smile back.He squeezed your shoulder gently. "Come on, let's get back. We can figure things out together. And... I promise to listen more. We'll get through this."

You took a deep breath, feeling a weight lift off your chest. With Minho by your side, you knew you could handle whatever the Glade threw at you.

Together, you started walking back, side by side, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
