The moon hung high over the Glade, casting a silver glow over the camp. The quiet rustle of the leaves in the gentle breeze was the only sound that broke the stillness of the night. Most of the Gladers were fast asleep in their beds, but you were struggling to find rest.

Tossing and turning in your makeshift bed, your mind was racing with thoughts that wouldn't settle. You tried everything to quiet your thoughts, but sleep seemed to be just out of reach. Frustration built up inside you as the minutes dragged on.

After what felt like hours, you heard a soft knock on your tent flap. The familiar voice of Minho, the ever-reliable runner, cut through the silence.

"Hey, y/n. Mind if I come in?"

You barely had the energy to respond, but you managed a faint "Sure" as you sat up in bed. The flap opened, and Minho stepped inside, his expression a mix of concern and curiosity.

"Can't sleep, huh?" Minho asked, settling down beside you on the edge of the bed. His tone was gentle, but there was an unmistakable edge of worry in his voice.

You sighed, rubbing your eyes. "Yeah, I've been trying for ages. Just can't seem to turn my mind off."

Minho nodded, understanding more than you'd expected. "I get it. Sometimes, it feels like your brain just won't shut up. Want to talk about it?"

You hesitated for a moment before nodding. "I guess it might help. It's just... everything's been overwhelming lately. The maze, the new routines... it's like my mind just won't stop spinning."

Minho listened attentively, his eyes focused on you. "Yeah, I know how that feels. Sometimes, it's hard to leave the day behind and just relax."

He sat quietly as you poured out your thoughts, his presence a calming anchor in the storm of your mind. His comforting silence was more helpful than you'd anticipated, and you found some relief in just speaking your worries aloud.

"Thanks for listening," you said after a while, feeling a bit lighter. "I didn't expect to unload all this tonight."

Minho gave you a reassuring smile. "No problem. Sometimes, just talking it out can make a big difference. You don't have to go through it alone, y'know?"

You nodded, appreciating his support. "I really appreciate it, Minho. It's just nice to know someone cares."

Minho chuckled softly, reaching out to ruffle your hair playfully. "Of course I care. You're one of us, and we look out for each other. Besides, if you're up all night, I'm sure you'll need someone to keep you company in the morning."

You smiled, feeling a bit more relaxed. "I guess you're right. Maybe I just needed a distraction."

Minho glanced at you with a teasing grin. "Well, if you can't sleep, you might as well keep me company. Who knows, maybe we'll come up with some new maze strategies while we're at it."

You laughed, the sound light and genuine. The weight on your shoulders seemed to lift a little, and you felt a renewed sense of comfort. "Alright, Minho. Thanks for being here."

Minho's smile softened as he leaned back. "Anytime, y/n. Let's just hang out for a bit. Maybe talking with someone who's not as crazy as the maze will help."

The two of you settled into a comfortable silence, with Minho's presence acting as a soothing balm to your restless mind. As the minutes passed, the tension in your body began to ease, and you felt a small sense of calm wash over you. With Minho by your side, the night seemed a little less daunting, and sleep, though still elusive, felt like a more attainable goal.
