Shopping Again?

Let it not be said that Harry hated shopping with a passion, but they had to go shopping to get custom made clothes for his tail. Then they went to Magical Menagerie to check how things were going there and that there were no problems. The twins decided to go get potion ingredients for their experiments. While Sirius went to Gringotts to take care of and told Harry not to overdo it and to meet them for ice cream in a few hours.

Harry walked off in a random direction in thought when he felt something fly into his hair. A giggle was head before Magical peeked out and asked, "so what are you doing today Harry?" Harry shook his head a little and said, "I'm shopping for things for next school year so I don't have to do it later. What about you Magical, I haven't seen you around recently." Magical looked at him and nodded not saying more. She looked like she had other things on her mind and wanted a distraction from it. He soon forgot about it in the shopping haze. Harry couldn't help but think that he really shouldn't have to go shopping again it was tedious work that he wanted no part in. He said as much out loud only to get laughter from the people around him and pitying looks.

Looking around he found a side alley he had never seen before on any of his previous trips and of course curiosity got the better of him and he had to go explore. He as he wandered down the alley he didn't notice Magical leaving through a portal that opened behind him. Harry looked at the name of the alley Seeking Alley and was immediately confused. What exactly did that mean usually you could tell what was going to be in the alley based on the name, but the name of this alley gave absolutely no hint as to what it contained. As Harry walked through the alley he could see many shops, but for some reason none of them had legible shop names they were all illegible. At the end of the alley was a wall with words engraved on it, Harry walked up to see what it said.

I am as fleeting as a gentle breeze
But as many as drops of rain
I cause havoc in the hands of the careless
But success in the hands of the cautious
Keep me close and the way will open

Harry contemplated the riddle looking up at the sky and realized that it was time for him to meet the others. Harry made a mental note to come back once he had figured out the riddle. Looking around he finally noticed that Magical was gone and assumed she went home. After meeting the others to get ice cream they went to get his custom made clothes, and then went home.

Harry made his way to his room and put his new clothes away but left out a pair of pajamas for bed. Harry made his way down stairs but had to halt his movements and grab the railing when an explosion rocked the house. Sirius had come up from the basement yelling at the twins. Harry couldn't help but laugh at the sight all three were covered in soot and their hair was standing up in straight lines. Once Harry got ahold of himself he said, "how is it we have been home for not even twenty minutes and you three have already caused a mess? Also have any of you seen Magical she was with me for a little bit when we were shopping, but I haven't seen her anywhere in my room or in the rest of the house." Fred put a hand on his chest and said, "can you believe this Gred our Harrykins is accusing us of causing trouble." George turned to his twin and said, "indeed I do hear you Forge and I can't help but be hurt at the accusation that we would have anything to do with that explosion. If anything it would be Sirius who is to blame for this explosion we had nothing to do with it we just happened to be in the area." Sirius upon hearing the accusation against him turned to the twins and said, "you two and I both know that you two are to blame for this explosion. I came to get you for dinner and then that explosion happened." Harry snapped his fingers to get their attention back on him and said so what did happen to cause that explosion?"

Ten minutes earlier

Sirius walked down to the stairs to get the twins for dinner and knocked on the door to the potions lab they had claimed for their experiments. Thinking that he was being ignored because he could here them talking about adding toad legs of frogs breath to their current experiment to get the desired effect. Sirius kicked open the door and was about to start shouting that they weren't listening, but the sound of things splashing made him stop. He had just enough time to launch himself at the twins and drag them down with him to avoid the blast. They coughed until the room cleared a little then looked at each other covered from head to two in soot from the explosion and started laughing at each other. Then walked out the door and came face to face with an exasperated Harry who had begun complaining.

Back to the present

Harry could only sigh as he began heading to the dining room and told them to clean up before joining him. The three saluted before running up the stairs and resumed laughing at each other. Finding his seat Harry sat down and began arranging himself to get comfortable, his ears twitched as he heard the others approaching. When the other two finally sat down the food appeared on the table, today they would be having spaghetti with salad and bread. Although Harry felt like this was a bad choice for today the other three had already made quite the mess today. He hoped for the best and began eating as he could see the others doing the same. After they were finished Harry made his way up to his room got changed into his new pajamas and fell asleep.

I'm sorry I haven't updated in quite a while, I had a bit of writers block and a couple of other things going on in my life.
