Epilogue (55)

Aurora point of view, 5 years later

I wake up to see Aria and Ares jumping up and down on my bed.

Alaina is laughing and giggling from her crib in the room across the hall.

Aria is now 5 and half, Ares is 4, Alaina is just about to turn 2 next week.

Axel sits up and says "Good morning il mi amore, good morning to you two also."

Ares says "Dadda play outside."

Axel laughs and says "Dadda has to get ready with momma."

Aria says "Momma has to wake up."

I sit up and say "I'm awake sweetheart."

They both clap their hands and practically jump on me.

Axel says "Careful."

Ares says "Sorry mommy."

Aria says "Sorry mommy."

I laugh and say "It's fine, now go get ready so we can get ready."

They both nod and run off.

Axel looks over and says "That was a good welcoming party."

I laugh and say "Always with them."

He laughs and wraps his arms around me. Pulling me onto himself as he does.

I say "We gotta get ready."

Axel groans and rubs my stomach soothingly.

I smile and he says "Just ten minutes."

I say "No we can't leave them unsupervised for that long."

He groans and says "Fine."

I get up and walk into the closet grabbing the outfit I picked out last night.

I put my hair in a messy bun and put on my sundress that's blue with floral.

It's sundress season so you know what that means. No annoying thongs or panties.

Axel walks into the bathroom hugging me from behind. He has dark blue jeans with a white shirt.

I'm 29 now and he's 34.

I put my hands on his and he asks "Are you wearing a bra?"

I furrow my eyebrows and say "That's a random question."

He chuckles and says "Your boobs look great."

He winks at me in the mirror and we both laugh.

He then goes downstairs while I get Alaina ready.

She is the female version of Axel along with Aria while Ares looks exactly like me.

Alaina is the calmest out of all of them and the quietest. She's amazing but it gets annoying when our families always ask questions.

Like fuck off.

I ask Alaina "Piggies or bunnies."

She says I'm her adorable voice "Mama want piggy."

I nod and put her hair in two pigtails.

When I'm done I say "Boom done."

She claps her hands and blows me a kiss. I smile and kiss her cheek.

When we're all done I take her downstairs to see Axel cooking breakfast while entertaining Aria and Ares. He's the best dad and husband ever.

Aria says "Momma I want to get my nails done."
