I moved my hands to wipe away the sweat, snapped my fingers and sighed as the door opened. I took a cup to control my nerves and walked around the place, I let out a laugh when I saw her dancing

Her lost eyes were looking for something and when our eyes met I smiled and let go of him
"Hey!" Earl stopped me by the wrist
"Hey" I turn when I hear her voice
"Hi" I replied with a smile in my eyes
I took her hand and led her to another part of the party, I saw Earl look at me annoyed but I ignored him paying attention to the beautiful girl
"Hi" I sigh
She laughed "Hello, again"
I felt my cheeks burn and I looked around nervous, my nerves everywhere
"Do you want something to drink?" I said turning around
She stopped me delicately, her hand on my waist, I turned to look at her with a lump in my throat
"No" she deny
I nodded and took a sip of my drink, she saw my nervousness and took my cup to put it on the nearby table, her long and delicate fingers met mine and I followed her to a sofa to sit down.
She's a friend of a friend of a friend of Earl's, I never saw her again after what happened at the previous party, we exchanged numbers and talked daily, that's how I knew she'd be at this party today, I wasn't going to come but I had to see her
