"Shaun" I said looking for his shoes

"Yes?"

"We need to go now, put your shoes"

"I can't find my dinosaur book"

"Ugh, Shaun" I complained and sighed

"Are you mad, mommy?"

"No, I'm not" I calmed down as I looked for his book "But I told you to pack your things yesterday, right?"

"Right" he speak in a sad tone "I'm sorry"

I found the book behind the couch

"I forgive you" I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek

"Thank you mommy"

I opened his backpack and put the book in, Shaun came over to take the backpack

"Close the backpack"

I grabbed the keys and my bag, Shaun left the apartment and I was able to close it, I took his hand and started walking through the streets, I saw the cafeteria and we crossed the street to enter, I ordered the drink and paid

"Take a seat, I'll bring it right away"

I nodded and walked through the tables, Shaun extended his arms towards me and I carry him, everything happened quickly. A loud noise sounded next to me and I saw how a woman got up from her seat angrily. I saw her table and I recognized the dinosaur book as well as the colored case, he didn't close the backpack, I closed my eyes for a second while my son looked at me shy. The woman saw me angry and just when she was going to tell me something she saw the child in my arms who hid his head in my neck

"I'm so sorry" I apologized lowering Shaun

My son hid his head between my legs while I picked up the mess from the table, the things went flying and landed on the table causing the woman's drink to fall on her

"I'll buy you another drink" I offered nervously

"It is not necessary" finally the annoyed woman spoke a bit annoyed

"I'm sorry" Shaun said still with his face hidden

"She doesn't hear you" I answered when a boy came to clean

"I'm sorry" Shaun apologized to the woman and the boy "It was my fault, not mommy's, I should have closed the backpack"

The green eyes of the woman looked at my son with tenderness and then they looked at me

"It's okay" the woman gave him a warm smile "It just-" she saw her dress now with stains everywhere "It was an accident"

"I will pay for your clothes" I offered

"It's nothing" she fixed her eyes on me

"Your drink" the girl gave me my order

"Thank you" I saw the woman again "I'm really sorry"

The woman saw the drink and frowned

"No, I'm sorry you ordered that" she said with a smile and I couldn't help but smile aswell

"Grandma's drink!" Shaun raised his voice and his arms

"Oh" the woman began to blush which I found very cute

Shaun pulled my clothes and I looked down to see him, I saw that he is looking something behind me and I turned to find a family

"Why do all the children have two parents and I don't?"
