"Y/N, Alycia is here" Laura said entering her cousin's room
The girl got up happy and jumped three little times, Laura laughed seeing her cousin's happiness
"I may be late today" Laura fixed her cousin's hair
"Hello!" Alycia said entering the room
Laura has to go to an event today and she asked her friend to take care of her cousin, since the last time she took Y/N, the youngest had a crisis, she covered her ears because of the music and then she started to hit her head
"Call me if you need anything" Laura said goodbye to both
"Well hi" Alycia sat next to Y/N "How have you been, beautiful?"
Y/N put her thumb up
"I arrived on time today" Alycia spoke happily
"Always"
"Huh?" Alycia asked with the excuse of wanting to hear her voice
"You always" Y/N took her time to talk "Arrive on time"
"Since the last time I was not on time and you got upset, I have been on time"
Y/N turned her head towards Alycia and lifted her chin, Alycia smiled and rubbed her hands together nervously knowing what Y/N wants
"I'm sorry, I forgot" Alycia remembered the custom that they now have
Alycia saw how Y/N's eyes looked elsewhere and she couldn't help but feel tenderness and affection towards her, then she leave a tender kiss on Y/N's lips
"Do you want fruit?" Y/N nodded
They both went downstairs and while Alycia was preparing the fruit, Y/N chose the books and clean the house a bit
"Done" Alycia came to her and grabbed the book that Y/N selected for her
Y/N saw the unevenly sliced fruit cautiously, Alycia pressed her lips together and got flustered, Y/N sighed and started eating the fruit making Alycia sigh with reliefThey both read, ate and played board games to pass the time, after watching a movie they decided to go back up to Y/N's room. Alycia watched as the girl settled on her bed and she sat on the desk chair
"Alycia" Y/N called her and patted the bed
Alycia widened her eyes in surprise, it's the first time Y/N has asked her to lie down next to her, she and Laura have read about people with autism and they knows that they don't like physical contact. Alycia smiled and thought what to tell Laura when she will arrive, she would be just as happy knowing that Y/N was still moving forward. They both lay down for a while, they did nothing but enjoy the silence and the company of the other

Alycia tried to intertwine her fingers but Y/N moved her hand causing the older one to hide a laugh
"Baby steps" Alycia said to herself
After a while Alycia got closer without being able to take her eyes off Y/N's lips
"Can I kiss you?" she whisper
Y/N lifted her chin without needing words for Alycia to understand. Alycia put her hand on Y/N's cheek and her lips on hers once more
"Alycia!" both girls separated "Alycia! What are you doing!?"
An angry Laura approached the girls, Alycia stood up and stuttered without knowing what to say, Laura pushed her friend and went with her cousin
"What did you do to her?" Laura lowered the tone of her voice
"Nothing!"
"Nothing!?" she snort "That didn't look like nothing!"
"I- "
Y/N covered her ears because of the screaming
"You what!? You what, Alycia!?" Laura saw her cousin "Go away! You're bothering her!"
"Laura" Alycia began to cry
"LEAVE!"
Alycia grabbed her things and left the room, Laura turned to her cousin
"Calm down" she caress her cheek "It's okay"
Laura went down to the main entrance and shook her head when she saw Alycia in the doorway
"I don't want to hear you"
"Laura- "
"You took advantage of her, Alycia!"
Without waiting any longer, Laura kicked her friend out of the house
"No" she hear the voice of her cousin
"Y/N, go back to your room"
"No" Y/N shook her head and pointed to the door
"Your room"
"Alycia"
"She left" Laura took her cousin to the room

The days passed and the contact between Laura and Alycia broke, five months happen since the last time Y/N had seen Alycia
"Y/N, please" Laura said tired and frustrated
She saw her cousin and sighed, Laura knew that Y/N was sad about Alycia but she knew that it would pass, Laura's phone rang and she answered getting up from the chair
"No, it's as if all her advances hadn't happened" Laura looked at her cousin with concern "She was already expressing herself more often, she was already tolerating listening to music, she didn't even scream anymore when I moved her things by accident, nor didn't get upset when I forgot to cut the fruit in equal squares" the other voice spoke "I don't know, 4 months"
Laura kept talking and Y/N only saw the door thinking that if that day a certain green-eyed Australian would come in again. Y/N didn't understand her emotions completely, but she knew that she felt anger, sadness and confusion since that day they yelled, she didn't understand why Laura and Alycia argued, she didn't understand why Alycia didn't come back
"Y/N" Laura crouched down to her height "You know I love you, right?"
The youngest looked up without seeing her cousin in the eye and put her forehead against hers for a few seconds, that's the way to say that she loves people, so far she only does that with Laura and well... did it with Alicia. Laura smiled knowing that her cousin does not like physical contact and that little detail of hers always warmed her heart
"Sweetie, tell me what is wrong" Laura spoke tenderly to her cousin "You hardly said a word"
She saw her cousin continue watching the television off and sighed, Laura turned on the television when a familiar name was heard
"Alicya?" Y/N got up excited "Alycia?" she started looking around
"Y/N" Laura tried to reassure her
"Alycia?"
"Y/N, hey" Laura calmed her down "Alycia is not here"
Apparently those last words triggered something in Y/N and she started to have a crisis, Laura knew she was angry and couldn't calm her down in any way until she screamed in surrender
"Fine, I'll call her. Alycia will come"
Y/N calmed down and Laura looked at her cousin confused but at the same time understanding everything
