I got to the cafeteria and sat down at an empty table, I sighed heavily, I put my hair up in a messy style when a laugh caught my attention, I followed the melodious voice and found Laura laughing with her friends

I took out my apple to eat it when I caught a glimpse of Laura looking in my direction. Recess is over and everyone got up to go to class, I wait to be the last one
"Hey" Laura approached
I frowned, it's the first time in 2 months that she talks to me
"You're no longer my tutor Laura, you don't have to keep talking to me
"I just wanted to say hi"
"I'm sure your friends are waiting for you"
I left the cafeteria followed by Laura and listened to her conversation with her friends, cause they were behind me
"What take you so long?"
"Nothing" answered Laura
"You were with her" her other friend spoke "You helped her study, right?"
"But you are no longer her tutor" the boy spoke "It is not your obligation to keep talking to her
"Guys" Laura sighed "It's nothing
"You know what they say about her?"
"They're just rumors" Laura replied
"Look at her hair" the blonde spoke
"She's always late"
"She is a disaster"
"Yeah, she is" Laura agreed
I got to the classroom and her friends parted ways, only the blonde stay, I went to my seat and rested my head on my arms to sleep. I opened my eyes when I heard a loud sound
"Y/N!" the teacher scolded me "Do not exhaust my patience"
I turned to Laura's place and saw her looking in my direction, neither of us dared to break eye contact until her friend elbowed her. Laura looked at her friend and the blonde frowned as she said something to her. I saw behind Laura the girl who always wears black, I got chills seeing the way she looks at Laura

I breathed a sigh of relief when the last class ended
"Y/N" Laura stopped me "Have plans today?"
"Laura, thanks for helping me to pass the exam but it is not necessary-"
"I want to talk to you"
"I'm not your social experiment" I raised my tone of voice
"You're not" she sigh "Is it so difficult to understand that I just want to talk to you?"
