Wills POV

I'm stood at the stove cooking dinner when Imogen comes moseying into the room with jays box of chocolates which hailey gave him for Valentine's Day, yesterday.  I raise an eyebrow, "I don't think jay'll appreciate your hands all over them" I point to the table, where she placed them, gaining a scoff from her.  I tilt my head, "he said I could have some, right jay?" She yells through the house.  We hear nothing for a few seconds, "yes but only a few, immy! You don't wanna spoil dinner!" Jay yells from his room.

She grins as I shake my head and continue cooking.  She picks up the flavour card and reads them out, "what's pecan?" She enquires, "you won't like that one, try something a little more... plain" I sigh.  She picks one up, "coconut delight" she bites into it.  After swallowing the tiniest bite she throws the chocolate back down, "ew..." she shakes her head and closes the box of chocolates.  I chuckle as she jumps down from the table, "I told you to chose a plain one" I warned.  She frowns but backs away so her back hits the wall.

"Don't forget you have practice tomorrow, and a game at the weekend" I remind as she stays silent.  I don't think much of it when she doesn't answer me right away, given that she's always distracted and never paying attention to what either me or jay have to say.  After around thrifty seconds of silence I turn my head to see Imogen desperately scratching at her throat, "you good? Imogen?" I set my pair of tongs down to approach her.

She shakes her head and continues scratching at her throat, as if it's burning her or she wants to get as much air as she can.  I notice the back of her hands turning red and blotchy before she coughs and grabs onto me, "woah, easy..." her legs give out beneath her.  It's not until a few seconds later when I fully realise what's going on, she's having an allergic reaction.

"Jay!" I yell worriedly as I set Imogen down on the table.  Within two seconds, jay appears in the kitchen too, "she's having an allergic reaction, she's anaphylactic. We need to get her to med, now" I look up as Imogen tries to sit up.  Jays face widens in horror as he grabs his keys and Imogen's jacket along with her shoes.  I follow behind as we leave the house, beginning our drive to the hospital.

I was ready to start treating Imogen when I set her down on the bed, but Sharon kind of kicked me out before I got the chance. I guess she was right, I'm too close to treat her. I look over to see jay with a guilty look on his face, "this is my fault" he shakes his head after noticing my stares. I frown, "how is it your fault?" I scoff. He raises an eyebrow, "I gave her the chocolates" he shoots me a dumb glare. I sigh, "you didn't know she was allergic to coconut. Nobody did. This was gonna happen sooner or later" I declare. Jay slowly shrugs, "yeah..." he mutters.

"Hey" Crockett breaks me and jay out of thought.  We stand up and nod, "she's okay, exhausted and dehydrated but okay. We're gonna run an allergy tests, but it's clear that she's severely allergic to coconut. It's important this happened now, rather than later. Now we know..." he smiles supportively. I'm sure jay needed to hear that.

"Hey princess" jay smiles as he greets Imogen. She looks up and frowns, "you can have your chocolates back..." she sniffles. I can't help but stifle back a laugh as jay smiles, "why thank you" he squeezes her cheek and she smiles a little, yawning soon after. I brush the curls out of her face, "go to sleep, the soon er you feel better the sooner we can go home" I nod. She sighs but leans into jays lap and closes her eyes. Maybe next time, don't eat other peoples chocolates immy...
