We were on our way to get something to eat and Isaiah handed me his blunt.

"You should stop doing this and driving." I said and inhaled.
"You should stop worryin' so much." He took it from me as I exhaled.

We pulled into the parking lot of a restaurant.

"Finish this before we go inside." he instructed and handed it back to me.

"Can I ask you a question?" I began.
"Yea."
"How many exes do you have?"
"Like...2 or 3." He shrugged.
"Oh."
"How many you got?" he wondered and looked at me.
"Zero."
He looked like he didn't believe me.
"What?" I laughed and hit the blunt again.
"You got zero exes? None? Not even one?"
"Correct." I exhaled.
"That's a fuckin' lie."
"How?!" I exclaimed.
"It just is." he shrugged.
"No, it's not! I really haven't had a boyfriend. I've liked a few guys but it never really got that far."
"I don't believe you."
"Why not?"
"'Cause look at you." He examined me.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" I inhaled again.
"That you're fine as fuck. And smart. I doubt nobody has tried gettin' with you before me."
"Well it's true." I replied and took one more hit before placing the blunt in his ashtray.

My face was grabbed and pulled close to his.

"And you want me to be your first?" he asked with a smile.
"I didn't say that..."
"You didn't have to." He kissed me gently. "Come on, I'm hungry."
He let me go then got out of the car.
I followed behind him.

We made it inside and stood in line.

Isaiah stood behind me as I looked at the menu.

His hands held my waist while he kissed down my neck.
This is embarrassing...we're in public.

"Isaiah..." I called.
"Hm?"
His hand attempted to slip into my leggings and my eyes bulged.
I quickly moved it out of the way and luckily it was my turn in line so I walked forward.

"Um Hi..." I greeted.
"Hi, what can I get for you?"
An arm draped over my shoulder and I saw Isaiah standing next to me with his eyes on the menu.

"A number three please..." I begged.
"Okay. Your drink?"
"Just bottled water is fine."
"Okay. And for you, sir?" she asked.
"Number 1, no onions." Isaiah said and pulled out his wallet.
"Drink?"
"Bottled water too." He doesn't drink sodas.
He took out his card.

"15.42." said the cashier.
Isaiah slid his card in.

"Damn, I wonder what Mrs. Tran got today." he said quietly.
"Are you gonna go see her?" I wondered.
"Maybe later. You comin'?"
I nodded.

He took his card and the receipt before we moved to the side to wait for our food.

He turned me around to face him and his hands held my waist.

"We're in public. Stop being inappropriate." I said quietly.
"How am I bein' inappropriate? I'm just holdin' you." he laughed quietly.
I glared at him.
"Gimme a kiss and I'll stop." He smirked with a lick to his lips.
"Stop it..." I said shyly and looked around the restaurant.

There weren't many people here besides the workers and about four others. But still. He was embarrassing me.

"Just one. A little peck. Come on." Isaiah encouraged.
I looked up at him and he smiled.
I took a deep breath before going for a small kiss.

He grabbed my jaw in one hand and his tongue slipped between my lips during our kiss. He made sure to get my heart racing and make the short kiss as nasty as possible before he slowly pulled away.

I stood there with a blank stare.

"See that's all. Wasn't hard, was it?" he asked.
I continued standing there in paralysis.

"Order number 23." said the girl behind the counter.
Isaiah checked the receipt. "That's us."
He walked away from me to get it and I still stood there with embarrassment burning off of my skin.

We were back in the car after we ate and he decided we could stop at Mrs. Tran's bakery.

We got out of the car and walked inside.

"Ohhhh, Liiiinnndaaaa..." Isaiah called.
Mrs. Tran walked out from the kitchen. "Hello, Isaiah and pretty girl."
"Hi." I smiled.
"How come she gets a nickname and I'm just Isaiah?"
"I have not seen you in days." she pointed out.
"Aww, I'm sorry, sweetheart. I just moved out and I was busy packing and unpacking." Isaiah explained and walked over to the counter. "Can you forgive me?"
She sighed. "I suppose. But no crepe cake."
Isaiah gasped comically and I giggled.
"I guess I can accept that." he agreed sadly.

He hopped over the counter and walked into the kitchen.

She looked past the doorway before coming back to me and gesturing that I come closer.
I followed directions.

"You're the girlfriend now?" she whispered.
"It's complicated..." I snickered.
She rolled her eyes. "Complicated? Your generation says this all the time. It is complicated. No it is not. He likes you. You like him. You spend time together. You are romantic together. And only with one another, it is not complicated. You are girlfriend." she stated.
I laughed at her educating me.

"ISAIAH!" she shouted.
"HUH?!" he replied.
"SHE IS GIRLFRIEND?!"
I hid my face as if he was out here. Why would she do that to me?

Isaiah came out of the kitchen and looked at her then me. I looked away to hide my embarrassment again.

"She is girlfriend." he stated.
I looked at him.
He winked at me then disappeared back into the kitchen.

I am girlfriend?

"See? I told you." Mrs. Tran stated and I looked at her.
She was smiling cockily and was clearly very proud of her judgment.
