Annies POV

I haven't said a word to anyone about the letter we received about my biological mother and I don't intend too. It's been three days sense and Demi has seemed to have gotten over her anger towards Wilmer and I.

Maybe it was just a one time thing. My mother tried contacting me and when she couldn't, she gave up. So, that's why I'm not going to mention it. Not to anyone. It's done. It's over with.

Today, we're all going to this huge concert in LA for Demi. It's like the Hollywood Bowl, but this time it's raising money for some intense charity. Demi, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Jessie J and a few other performers will be there to sing at least three songs. Backstage, they're going to have fans everywhere. They have to pay like fifty dollars to get in, in hopes of meeting one of the celebrities passing by. So, basically meet and greet for everyone. If you're lucky.

It's supposed to be scorching hot, so I have high waisted shorts and a crop top. I love my mom so much, but I don't know if I'll be able to beat the heat. I'm probably going to camp out in her dressing room half the time.

"Are you ready to go?" Wilmer called from downstairs.

"Yeah!" I called back down.

Demi left a few hours ago, and the rest of the family are meeting there. Oh, and I heard there's gonna be pizza. I love me some pizza.

I grabbed my phone off the bathroom counter, then bounded down the stairs to see Wilmer waiting at the door.

When we got in the car, I couldn't help but get excited. I love when Demi performs, especially with other people.

"Is Marissa coming?" I asked.

"Yeah," he answered.

Good. I've missed Marissa.

The rest of the drive went by rather quickly, but here comes the tricky part. Parking. It's like a huge maze just to get our car past security, then back to wherever Demi is.

He rolled up to the first gate and a masculine man came up to the window. "Where to?"

Wilmer told him where we were headed and he asked, "Do you have a pass?"

"No.. Demi said we didn't need one."

He nodded like he didn't believe us then said, "She has one. You'll need her to show it to the guards at the next barrier."

"Thanks." Wilmer said, rolling his window back up. "Call your mother and have her meet us there."

I quickly dialed Demi's number and pressed the phone to my ear.

"Hello?" She chirped.

"You're gonna have to meet us at Gate B to let us in with that pass." I explained.

"Oh, okay. I'm on my way."

"Okay." I said, hanging up the phone.

We took off once again, passing busy looking people with walkie talkies.

In no time, we pulled up to the next one and another guy walked out of the booth.

"Pass?"

I looked around, but don't see Demi.

"My girlfriend is supposed to be bringing it." Wilmer said, also looking around.

We awkwardly sat there, all of us looking around. Um..

"I'll call her." I told them.

I pressed the phone to my ear and impatiently bounced my foot up and down, waiting for her to answer.
