Annie's POV

As soon as I sat down on the roof I let the tear that has been stinging my eyeball for the past ten minutes fall.

Tonight we leave for the first concert of Demi's World Tour and i always get emotional leaving Marissa, Madison, Di, Eddie and Dallas. It will only be a few short weeks before Marissa and Madison come on tour with us for a while, but I'll still miss them.

I still haven't talked to Conner sense that night, so for the hell of it, I decided to dial up his number and call him.

Pressing the phone to my ear, I waited for an answer I'm not going to get.

I actually kinda feel bad because Demi is putting all the suitcases in the car to go to the tour bus, and I'm not helping. Well,I-

"Hello?" Either I'm dreaming or Conner just answered the phone.

"Conner?" I asked.

"Yeah..."

"Where have you been?! Why haven't you called or texted?!" I asked. Usually he's the one that blows up my phone and texts me first, but it seems like the roles have been reversed and I don't like it.

"I haven't been anywhere." He said, flatly.

"Are.. Are you mad? At me?" I asked, stomach churning at the thought of that.

"Yeah." He said.

My heart got really heavy and I can feel it slowly sinking to the bottom of my stomach.

"Uh, why?"

"I don't feel like talking about it tonight."

Now, he's pissing me off. If you're mad, tell me why.

"Alright, well I'm about leave to go on Demi's World Tour, so if you have a change of heart in the next three minutes, let me know." I spat.

"We can talk about it when school starts." He said.

I stiffed a laugh, "Okay, but I'll be on a tour buss, so."

"Y-you're not coming to school?" He asked.

Is he a dumb ass? I just said I was going on a two month world tour. School starts in like three days.

"I'm doing the first two months on tour, basically homeschooling, until we get back." I said.

"Oh," he said, sounding disappointed. "You're not coming back for two months?"

"No." I said.

"Oh." He said again.

Silence.

"Well, I gotta go. So, uhm, bye."

And then he hung up.

Demi's POV

I hopped on the buss after saying my goodbyes to Madison and Marissa. Goodbyes have gotten easier for me over the years, but not for Annie.

I decided I'll start getting stuff adjusted while she says goodbye so I can have the rest of the night to comfort her and make her happy. To be honest, I get kinda jealous when she gets upset saying bye to them.. Shouldn't she be happy it gets to be just us for a while? Well, plus my crew.

"Dem, are we all packed up?" Max asked from the bunk hall.

"Uh, yeah, I think so." I said, counting all the bags.

"Alright, Annie's getting on now. Get some rest!"

I laughed, "You too, Max."

I opened up Annie's suitcase and pulled out her pajamas for tonight and an outfit for the concert tomorrow so we don't have to worry about it in the morning with everything going on at once. Chaos.
