It hurts, too much
I want a break
It's taking all my energy
And I don't know how much more I can take
But I'm here, it's getting late
And you offer it to me
Usually I would say no
But life has been too tiring
So I take that puff
In hopes it drowns the pain
And after a little while
I start feeling better in a way
I watch the sunset
Smoke blowing out from my lungs
Everything is calm
And I feel numb
