The sun shines
I'm appeared to be glowing
But when the sky got dark
The voices started talking
I tried to hide it
Tried to listen to something
Anything to distract myself
But the tears kept coming
It was then lights out
I tried to calm down
But my thoughts became restless
Don't make a sound
You saw me
Motioned me to come over
I tried to stay away
But I felt myself moving closer
You grabbed me by the hand
Pulled me close, I laid on your chest
Taking a deep breath
All those thoughts, to forget
Laying here, I close my eyes
Listening to your breath and beating heart
All the hurt faded to nothing
I'm here, safe in your arms
