Do I need more calcium?
To strengthen my bones to survive a fall
A fall from my heart, let go so suddenly
Will it protect against words with sharp edges?
Emotions that feel like knives
Stabbing through the skin
Hoping to reach my heart
And cut it into pieces
I've been torn apart repeatedly
Time is not a good friend
Nothing left to catch me
Becoming too easy to break
I took bandages to be covered
Screamed every time I walked
Beating of the heart, I still feel
Maybe I can reach the top
Heart shatters, bones break
A soul that contains fragility
I smile, get patched up
Weakness it is not
