My hands are shaking
The air is freezing
Standing in the snow
I'm getting very cold
You looked into my eyes
And saw the forming ice
You put warmth over my shoulders
Soon I start to feel calmer
Who knew a jacket could be so warm?
Hard to believe I'm wearing something you've worn
Kept it with me for the rest of the day
Giving me the feeling of you, here to stay
The smell of you plastered on my skin
I can feel your soul from deep within
I smiled because of a piece of clothing
But it brought the feeling of closeness and healing
Hard to believe I received a jacket from you
For just a moment, I felt like you were mine
And time appeared to be frozen
You brought warmth into my soul
How can I let go?
