Years in the deep dark sea
Time frozen, repeating death
To get pulled up and then sink under
Over and over again
Finally to reach a boat
To climb on and not fall
Reach the land, feel the sand
Now I can finally walk
The sun, giving me warmth on my skin
Feeling the wind hit my face
The world around me is so beautiful
To finally have reached peace
The pain then subsides
Feelings start to fade
Nothing is black and white
There is color, and the sound of waves
Taking deep breaths, appreciating the air
I've never thought I would make it here
Deep happiness, something worth meaning
I have reached, I'm finally free
