We were okay
Nothing between us was toxic
We had a good relationship
I never overthought it
But then things changed
I don't know why
You started to manipulate
And kept telling lies
You said sweet things
Things that made me smile
But then you would be so cruel
I was so in denial
Then you left, nothing has been said
No matter how hard I try, I have no answers
I've been hurt and a piece of me was taken
And all I wish for is closure
