There was a path that led to a destination
One that guaranteed a smile from happiness
I followed it throughout my whole entire life
And it was a consistent journey of success
Until one day it got cold
And everything went dark
I decided to step out of the path
I never found my way back
Out in the woods it's scary
So many noises and unknown voices
Too many feelings that don't make sense
My body is constantly poked with thorns
I try to hide from the creatures out there
And I try to find my way back
But it's so dark and I can't see
I'm lost in this damn head of mine
