A day of gloominess and a broken heart
Everything was falling apart
Dry skin and soft tears
I no longer wanted to be here
But then I met you and things have changed
You lit my path, showed me my way
And even though there are still rough waves
You always make me smile at the end of the day
One year later and I'm doing much better
The pain and sadness, I remember
It's not around as much anymore
Thanks to you, I have soared
So much can change in one year
I'm very glad to have you here
By my side when I'm at my lowest
And to show me that life is more than darkness
