013 — i won't always be around.

"Thank you, have a good night!" the saleswoman said, giving me the change. I muttered something under my breath, and walked out of the 24/7 grocery store.

It was already late, around midnight, and I felt like having some instant ramen so not paying attention to anything, I just went to the nearet shop. My parents were already asleep so they had no idea I was gone.

As it was getting warmer, I was wearing a white oversized T-shirt, and a pair of black sweatpants. I wanted to sleep, but the urge to eat cookies was just stronger than me. It wasn't very smart as it was already very dark, and the streets were empty, but it wasn't until I started thinking about it, and I felt a sense of fear.

I have already turned onto the street leading to my house. It was a bit scary, because there were no lights in the houses around, and the lantern in the street was blinking from time to time.

Shiver ran down my spine, I had a bad feeling about this. And then suddenly, a person dressed in black ran up to me, trying to tear my bag out of my hand. I should let him go and just accept that I was robbed (by losing only my ramen..?). However, something told me to hold the bag, and not let it be taken.

Even when I tried to, I couldn't see the thief's face as he was completely masked. He had a lot of strength so every jerk of him hurt me. My eyes filled with tears as the handle of the bag tore the skin off my wrist.

At that moment, I heard a loud growl behind my back. I stiffened with fear, letting the thief tore my bag easily. Packages of ramen that I bought moments earlier scattered all over the sidewalk.

The thief's eyes widened as he stared somewhere behind me. I myself didn't have the courage to see what was there. The worst visions started to appear before my eyes. The thought of the article my father had read a few days earlier have immediately appeared in my mind. 'Two torn bodies'.
