He raises his eyebrows in that annoying way he does when he wants something, he's insufferable. "Promise not to tell anyone," I say forcefully.
"I promise" He sounded a bit scared so I decided to trust him.
"I don't know why but the government are controlling us. They tell the people in the town that we get taken to die when they are actually hiding us here. The serum they used didn't last on me and I started remembering things; they used it on me again but every time they do it just wears off. I started making a sort of anti-serum but I had no idea if it would work or not." His eyes were the size of saucers and I'm not going to lie it was pretty funny. His expression kept on changing from wonder to confusion to worry. "How have you not been caught this time though? How do I need to act?" He asked me with a serious look on his face,
"Brainwashed is the fast answer. If they ask you to do something, do it. No questions asked. Act like you want revenge and that you want to take over SunLife and don't hesitate." He seemed satisfied with that answer which is a relief because I don't actually know. "What the hell is going on here?!"
Well, there goes my night of peace.
