"You should put more care to your attack."

"Indeed, if the partner of yours didn't act fast, we might have a repeat of THAT Incident. Or not. Probably worse."

"Why you don't hold back the second you feel all, what was it again? All tingly?"

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry..."

The noise wake Yuya up. Ugh. Who's talki—

His red eyes stares blankly at three figures standing on his room. Two tall adult figures. One has long blonde hair clad in white robe, and other has short, spiky kind of burnt orange hair and clad in black robe. And they were currently scolding...

Yuya blinked. Once. Twice. Nope. Still there.

He raises a hand to pinch himself. Still there.

SLAP

Nope. They're still there and now focusing at him.

"Master? Your cheek!"

Yuya almost scramble backwards when the tiny creature jumped off from the desk and landed on his bed. An act that was not goes unnoticed (how could it be?)

"Master?"

Yuya gulped and tentatively raise his hand. "Y-you are... Odd Eyes?" At this up close, he can see the creature's feature. Draconic looking, covered in red scales with few strategically placed white... bone armor? A pendulum attached to his torso and secured by said bone armor. Heterochromia eyes of red and green.

Without a doubt, that was his ace monster. His Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon.

"T-that means..." he turned to the two adults. Recognizing their feature. How could he not? When he relies on them as much as he relies on Odd Eyes. "Stargazer Magician? Timegazer Magician?"

They all nodded.

Yuya stared blankly for a moment, before laying back and cover his body with the blanket.

"Nope. Not dealing with it. The dream had gotten too weird. Time to back to sleep, or wake up."

There's no way his monster jumped out from the card without Solid Vision System is being used. And even then, it doesn't includes giving them voices.

"Yuya! Until when you are going to sleep?" his mother chooses that time to open the door and enters. "You have school, young man! Even Sora is already up!"

"But kaa-san, I—" he then pauses. His mom doesn't blow a gasket or panicked at seeing 'unknown' people in his room? What. "Uh, mom...? You didn't see them?"

"Them who?"

"Them!" Yuya pointed at his monsters.

His mother looks at directions he pointed at, frowned, before turning to him. She put a hand to Yuya's forehead. "Hm. You're not sick. Must be sleeping in really late for you to still dreaming." But he was not—! "Go have bath, Yuya. You have school. I know you didn't care much about normal school but it's just as important as dueling."

He... yeah. He should wash up and get himself properly awake.

He might be just hallucinating that crazy morning. After all, when he come back, they are gone. Yuya let out relieved sigh and proceeds to do his usual routine. Fighting Sora over breakfast, going to school (and wonder which public school Sora goes since it certainly was not the one he goes to), trying to not falling asleep in the class and deals with whispers that aimed to him.

It's normal, really. Even the nasty whispers.

He had long get used to them calling him cowardly son of a cowardly man. And now, he got new one "Cheater", for his Pendulum summoning that he, supposedly, the only one who can use it.
