Side chapter 5: Thunderstorm comfort

Y/n is helping Aether with a commission. They soon realize that the weather is getting a little stormy.

3rd pov:

Aether ran towards a group of treasure hoarders.
As soon as he was there he used anemo powers to gather them up, before they could react.

Then Y/n ran in to the battle and put all the grass on fire.

Aether and Y/n defeated them with a few slashes of their swords. One of the hoarders were left and he got down to his knees and started begging for his life.

"Please, spare me! I'll tell you what you want!!" He begged.

"Is this the correct guy, Aether?" Y/n asked him.

"Yes, it is, I'll take him to Yelan." Aether confirmed.

"No- NO please! Not her!" The guy was horrified.
Y/n smirked and kneeled down to him.

"Oh? You scared?" Y/n chuckled in his face.
"You should've thought about that before trying to steal from the Tianquan." She said before playfully pinching his cheek.

She got back up, and then she helped Aether tie him up.

"Thank you for your help Y/n." Aether thanked her.
"Oh, it's no problem." Y/n responded.

The air started getting a little cold.

"It seems the clouds are closing in, looks like it's going to rain." Aether said while looking towards the dark clouds that came in over the ocean.

Y/n hummed. "It seems so."

She then smiled. "I'll probably take a small stroll in the city. It's very pretty when it's raining." She said with a close eyed smile.

"Mind if I join you? I have nothing more to do today. I can bring an umbrella." He said.

Y/n nodded, "Sure you can. Xiao is supposed to be having tea with Zhongli today. So we might as well keep each other company." She said with another gentle smile.

"First though, we need to hand this guy over to Yelan." Aether said while looking at the guy who was on his knees.

"Thank you for your help Traveler and Master." Yelan thanked them both. "My schedule was pretty packed, so I would have to wait a few hours before catching him." She said.

"It's no worries Darling. I'm always willing to help you." Y/n said.

"Yes, we love helping people!" Paimon said as well. Aether sighed, "You mean you love helping people?" Aether corrected Paimon.

"Oh Uh, yeah I guess." Paimon said with a small chuckle.

"I'll be on my way then, and so should you, it seems there's going to be a storm." Yelan said before giving us a wave and leaving.

"A... storm?" Aether said. He sounded a little nervous.

Y/n looked towards him. "Would you like to stay at my house for a little instead of taking that stroll?" She said.

Y/n could hear a small sigh of relief from him. "Yes. That would be nice." He said.

Then they started walking towards the beach.
