Harry looked in the mirror for the third time. This was their final night in France and he was taking Draco to his surprise dinner. Fleur had come over to help him get ready and she had pronounced him "beautiful 'Arry! He won't know what to do once he sees you!" He still felt rather insecure after that girl's remarks about his scar. He usually forgot about it but now he couldn't help thinking maybe it was disfiguring. He squared his shoulders and shook off such useless thoughts. Draco liked his scar and that's all that mattered. His hair reached his shoulders and Fleur had curled the ends. Instead of a headband, he had a ribbon holding half of it back. He was wearing fitted trousers with a light sweater to keep warm in the cool evening.
"Alright Harry. You can do this! Let's go romance the pants off of Draco!" He gave himself a little pep talk and heard someone clear their throat. He turned to find Mr. Severus in the doorway. He flushed and clarified "not his actual pants!" Mr. Severus snorted and said "I would hope not. I think Sirius would actually have a heart attack." Harry agreed with him. After Sirius had witnessed them kissing, he had to lie down because he felt so faint. His godfather was so dramatic sometimes.
"You look very handsome, Harry." Mr. Severus said, reaching out to pat his head. Harry gave him a shy smile and replied "you don't think my hair looks silly?" Harry had wanted to grow his hair out and Fleur knew a spell so she helped him find the best style.
"Silly? Never! Father thinks you look stunning!" Mr. Malfoy's voice interrupted them as he came barreling down the hall, a camera in his hand.
"Thank you. I thought you looked really cool with long hair so I've wanted to try it." Harry admitted to the blonde man. Mr. Malfoy grabbed his heart and stumbled backwards.
"My little boy wants to be just like me. My heart can't take such words!" He sobbed as Mrs. Malfoy came up from behind him and swatted the back of his head.
"Lucius, be quiet! You're going to wake up Sirius and if you do, you'll be sleeping on the couch! The boys are trying to have a romantic evening and we all know Sirius would be, well Sirius." Mrs. Malfoy said softly, causing Mr. Malfoy's mouth to click shut.
"Yes, darling." Mr. Malfoy said dutifully.
"You look wonderful, Harry! I hope you and Draco have a good time!" She kissed his cheeks as she dragged Mr. Malfoy off. Mr. Severus gave him another pat before following them. Harry marched towards the stairs where Draco was waiting with Remy. He was going to chaperone their date since Mr. Severus was staying behind in case Sirius woke up. Draco was wearing trousers with a black button up shirt. He looked so handsome, Harry swooned. At that moment, he looked up and their eyes locked.

"Thank you for agreeing to be our chaperone, Mr. Lupin." Draco was happy it wasn't Lord Black. After Harry kissed him, Lord Black had gotten scarily quiet. Draco was going to start locking his doors at night because he was pretty sure Harry's godfather was going to kill him.
"Draco, I don't mind if you call me Remus." The werewolf said. Draco thought about it. Adhering to his etiquette lessons growing up, he addressed everyone older than him with proper honorifics but if he was given permission, perhaps he could get away with dropping the formality.
"Okay Remus!" He grinned at the other man. It was a shame he had gotten fired from Hogwarts, he rather liked the gentle man. He heard footsteps and turned to see Harry coming down the steps. He stopped breathing as he took him in. Harry had long hair. Harry had long hair! Merlin, he looked like perfection given form, a god amongst men.
"Draco, you're forgetting to breathe!" Remus muttered to him and he sucked in air so he wouldn't faint again.
"Harry my heart, you look stunning, no beautiful! Words aren't strong enough to describe you. If someone asked me what paradise looked like, I would show them a picture of you." Draco babbled on, his eyes never leaving his fiancé. He honestly didn't care where they went, this was already the best present he's ever received.
"You look very handsome, Draco." Harry said, his face an attractive pink color. He was so lucky, he thought dreamily.
"Thank you, my treasure."
"Alright boys, if you're done making eyes at each other, we're going to be late." Remus said and Harry quickly pulled a blindfold out of his pocket.
"No peeking Draco!" Harry tied it around his eyes and led him outside. He happily followed his love as the sound of Paris echoed around them.

~~~~~~
Remus couldn't help but coo at how much work his cub had put into his little date night. He had refused to tell anyone where it was so they wouldn't spill the beans to Draco. Remus personally thought he also wanted to make sure Sirius wouldn't interrupt, the old dog. As Harry dragged them up the Eiffel Tower, he waved at the attendant guarding a door.
"Hello Mr. Potter! It's all set up just like you asked!" The man said and opened the door for them. Remus couldn't help his gasp as he looked around the little balcony. Candles were burning everywhere and a table for two was set up in the middle. It overlooked the city as the stars shone brightly above them. His cub was so romantic! James would've been so proud of him for this! He had gone over and beyond with Lily too. Harry reached forward and untied the blindfold around Draco's eyes. The blonde boy looked around before grabbing Harry around his waist.
"This is all for me? Mon amour, you shouldn't have!" Draco cried out as he peppered Harry's face with kisses. Remus took his cue and left the two lovebirds alone to enjoy their night. As he sat on one of the benches available to the public, his thoughts drifted to the Delacour's. He knew they were interested in him romantically, he'd have to be an idiot not to notice. Fleur had already started calling him pater, a variation of the word father. He hadn't even accepted their courtship yet! He would have to tell them about his furry little problem before even considering it. As he stared at the night sky, he let himself hope that maybe everything would work out. Maybe he could be happy too.
~~~~~~

Lucius watched his son sigh for the hundredth time, his eyes drifting to where Harry was. They were waiting for the Delacour's to arrive before they left France.
"Oi! Brat, stop sighing or I'll give you something to sigh about!" Sirius said as he tied his hair up in a bun. He was a little upset that he had slept through the boys date last night. Lucius wasn't going to tell the man Cissy had drugged his tea so he wouldn't "be a party pooper."
"I'm sorry, Lord Black! I'm just so upset I couldn't get a good picture of how lovely Harry looked in the candle light." His son had the biggest grin on his face. Lucius couldn't help preening. He had gotten a bunch of pictures of the boys and he couldn't wait to go home and start scrapbooking.
"Hello! We hope you didn't wait too long!" Claude said as his family arrived. Fleur immediately started whispering with Harry as Draco and Gabrielle got into a staring match.
"We're ready when you are, Polly!" Cissy said brightly. She got on famously with Apolline and he shuddered to think what antics they would get into once Andy joined them.
"Pater, I like your cloak!" Fleur said as she took Remus's hand. He watched the werewolf give her a warm smile before saying "thank you, dear. Draco bought me a whole new wardrobe before we went on vacation." Apolline was speaking quickly with Draco, their French too fast for the translation charm to decipher. He thought it was cute how much the Delacour children already clung to Remus. He didn't see why Remus hadn't locked the French couple down yet. If they weren't together before the children went to school, he decided he would help. They hadn't called him Love Guru Lucius back in his school days for nothing!
