"So lover boy's busy tonight?" Noami joked as she took a seat next to me on the couch. "Now you're stuck with me."

A small laugh escaped from me. "You act like that's a problem."

"To some people it might be." She shrugged.

"Well I'm not just some people." I shot back as I picked up the wine glass from the table. "In fact, this whole girls night was my idea if I remember correctly."

"You're right." Noami responded. "What exactly is your boyfriend up to though? I'm genuinely curious on how the rich spend their free time."

"You'd be surprised." I muttered before taking a sip of my wine and then setting the glass back down. "He's out with Killian, I guess he really needed to talk to him about something that isn't work related."

"He's out with womanizer?" She raised a brow as she referred to Killian by the nickname she gave him. "That's an interesting combo, Killian seems to be a little more carefree compared to Sterling."

"I think it's because it's easier for Killian to get away with whatever he wants." I began to explain. "He doesn't care what his family thinks as to where Sterling has grown up around his dad who from what I've experienced is professional most of the time."

"I see."

"I think it actually helps their friendship to be honest." I continued on. "Sterling helps bring out the more professional side of Killian, while Killian helps Sterling relax every now and then."

"Makes sense." She nods. "Enough about them. What's on the agenda for girls night?"

"Well, I was thinking we could order some dinner and watch a movie or something." I suggested. "If you don't want to do that then we can do something else?"

A small smile curved at her lips. "Sounds good to me."

We proceeded to order a pizza and took the opportunity to top off our glasses of wine before settling back down on the couch. Then, we searched through all of the movies we could find before deciding to settle on a romantic drama.

The movie started and was about twenty minutes in when there was a knock on the door. Noami was the one who got up from the couch to answer it as I paused the movie. Getting up from the couch, I walked into the kitchen just as Noami came in and set the pizza down.

She opened up the box and took a good whiff. "This smells amazing, I'm starving right now."

I opened the cupboard and grabbed two plates, bringing them over and setting them on the counter. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's dig in."

We both grabbed two slices and began to eat right there. Silence had settled in and I decided to go ahead and break it with some more girl talk, except this time it's going to be more centered on Noami.

"So how's Casey?" I asked with a suggestive smirk twitching onto my lips.

She swallowed down her food before answering. "I guess you could say things have been a little interesting."

I cocked a brow. "Interesting how?"

"Well, we can't really keep our hands off of each other." She confessed. "He's started to come in on time, early even just because he wants the chance to feel me up before we get to work."

My smirk grew wider. "Sounds kinky."

"Depends." She blushes. "Sometimes it is."

We continued to chat back and forth as we finished off the pizza we ordered. Then we headed back into the living room and took our places on the couch. I pushed play on the movie and it sucked us both back in.

When the movie ended, Noami and I finished off the last of the wine in our glasses and decided to paint each other's nails. I settled on a dark purple color while Noami went with a black.

"So, how's the whole assistant thing been?" She asked as she worked on painting one of my hands.

"It's fine." I exhaled a low sigh. "Definitely not something I want to do forever."

I never actually wanted to be an assistant, but it was the only thing that there was high demand for. I knew when I chose to go through the training for it that it was going to be a job that would set me up for awhile, the downside is catering to others needs.

I've always liked to be a little more independent so feeling like my only purpose is to serve someone else is frustrating. The only highlight of working at Tipton Enterprises is that now I'm at least working with a friend which makes it fun. On top of that Damon Tipton makes sure we're treated equally to the rest of the staff while at any other company I worked for treated assistance like they were bottom of the barrel.

"What do you want to do?" Noami questions.

Another sigh escapes as I shrug. "I don't know at this point. I know I'm in my early twenties and I have time to figure out what I want to do, but I think it'll be awhile before I come to something that's realistic."

"Understandable." Noami nods.

By the time we've finished painting nails it's almost midnight. I'm so used to going to bed early so I can wake up on time that I feel completely drained. I knew I needed to call it a night or I was going to really regret the lack of sleep tomorrow.

"I'm heading to bed." I yawned before getting up from the couch. "I'll see you in the morning."

"Sounds good." Noami replied.

Heading into my room, I checked my phone and noticed a text from Sterling. I smiled to myself as I unlocked my phone and read it to myself.

Sterling: I miss you, sleep well Sweetheart. I love you.

My smile grows wider as I typed back my response.

Isabelle: I love and miss you too. Goodnight.

I set my phone on the charge and then climbed into bed. It took me a minute to fall asleep but when I did, it's Sterling who fills my dreams.
