Aria's POV:

The guys have their eyes glued to their screens on the way while I remain alert and focused in case of an ambush.

Raph: "All right, hot heads. Hand over the ruby ring and-"

Leo: "Right. Look here, forehead flambé. We can do this the easy way, or the hard way."

Donnie: "But since we only have a quick minute until Sydney's back on, we are really lobbying for the easy way."

The Foot Lieutenant lunges forward to punch Raph, who staggers back into a clothing display.

Leo: "So, that's a hard pass?"

Me: "Gee, you think?"

Raph: "Nice punch, hoss. Too bad I snagged the ring."

Raph holds up the glove with the ruby ring that he snatched from the Lieutenant.

Foot Lieutenant: "You have no idea what you're dealing with. Give it back now!"

He sends out a quartet of paper ninjas.

Leo: "These paper guys again?"

Mikey grabs the glove as he fights the Lieutenant; Raph takes on the Foot Brute, while Leo, Donnie & I handle the paper ninjas.

Mikey: "She's back on, guys! Just an easy run, Sydney. Save your strength for the main event."

Then, Mikey gets shoved into a clothing rack.

Leo: "Can we call a quick timeout? Then I promise we'll go back to kicking your butts."

Donnie's successfully watching the finals while we fight until one of the paper ninjas blocks his view.

Donnie: "Down in front. Come on. Do I come to your life and block your view of your favorite show?"

I knock the paper ninja to the ground and do the same for a few of the others.

Me: "This is why don't mess with NYC!"

Foot Brute: "Your intrusion has delayed our operation."

Raph: "Nobody likes being interrupted in the middle of plans they had their heart set on. Am I right?"

Me: *chuckles* "Good irony, Raph."

Raph: "Mic drop."

Instead of dropping an imaginary microphone, Raph drops his phone to the ground, and it smashes itself into pieces.

Raph: "No! Sydney!"

Foot Brute: "What's a 'Sydney?"

Raph: "What's a 'Sydney'?!"

Raph and I each grab the arm of a nearby mannequin and whack the Foot Brute with them as Leo finishes fighting a paper ninja.

Raph: "What'd I miss?"

Leo: "Everything! It's a commercial again."

Meanwhile, the Lieutenant grabs Mikey's phone as he shoves Mikey away.

Mikey: "My Sydney box! No!"

Foot Lieutenant: "A trade. Tell the purple one to give us back our plundered prize, and then I'll return your precious phone."

Me: "Or we can do it my way."

I toss a clothes hanger at the Lieutenant's hand, and he drops the phone into the air as Mikey lunges forward to catch it. Unfortunately, it knocks Leo's phone out of his hand, and they crash.

Leo & Mikey: "No!"

Mikey: "Take me instead! Wait, Donnie's tablet. It's our last hope."

Donnie: "Phalange Sandwich!"

Donnie leaps forward to strike the Lieutenant with his bo staff, to which his tablet is connected, but he gets flung backward for me to catch. Then, the Lieutenant and Brute go for Raph & Mikey, who toss them backwards into each other, and the tablet gets crushed between them from the impact. The guys all fall to their knees with disappointed groans.

Leo: "Is there even anything left to fight for?"

Donnie: *sighs* "You think she got it on her first try?"

Leo: "If anybody could."

Raph: "My bad, guys. I never shoulda thought we could watch Sydney and stop them."

Mikey: "You and Ria were right. We're heroes. Heroes don't wait until commercial. Wait, where'd they go?"

We turn to see that they've regained the glove.

Foot Lieutenant: "Fools!"

Leo: "They've got the ruby ring!"

Me: "No way. They ruined our night, so we're ruining theirs."

I grab a skateboard from a display and toss it to Leo.

Me: "Yo, Stripes, another try at the 14-40?"

Leo dons a knowing smirk as he leaps onto the skateboard and rides down the escalator railing to chase after the Foot.

Leo: "Cowabunga!"

He knocks them off their feet and grabs the ring to put back in its display case.

Donnie: "Not a 14-40, but 3 rotations and a ring-saving steal. Boo-to-the-yah!"

Mikey: "Too bad."

Me: "So sad."

Mikey: "Better luck next time."

Mikey & I: "Not!"

Leo holds up a battery-powered device for us to watch the rest of the finals on. But before we can watch Sydney do the 14-40, a news report of the break-in we just fought interrupts the program, much to the guys' discontent.

Me: "Don't worry, team. I may have a small surprise for when we get home."

Raph: "Like what?"

Me: "TTwo rules when living with three brothers. One, always keep a backup of everything—phones, tablets, etc. Two, always make sure to record everything. Once Dad falls asleep, we can rewatch the finals via the recording I saved on the DVR before we left."

Donnie: "Best-"

Leo: "Teammate-"

Turtles: "Ever!"

Yes. Yes, I am.
