KEISHA'S POV

When I awoke, my room resembled a hospital in many ways, but it was fancier than the typical hospital. Before I knew it, the doctor was there, telling me how fortunate I was to still be alive while a robot stood beside him described my condition and projected when I would fully recover. Everything around me appeared a little more sophisticated than usual. I turned to glance at my stomach as the doctor left the room. These wounds will leave horrifying scars. I needed to get out of here. Despite the consequences, I must find a way to return home. While the pain was excruciating, I rapidly rose up because I knew that if I didn't, I would die, and even though dying seemed like the best course of action, I need to fight for my family.

 I skipped the time-consuming process of finding a new outfit. When I exited the hospital, it seemed deserted. I ran as quickly as my legs would allow, making a strong effort to ignore the pains I felt. I was in awe when I followed the signs outside. What is this place. Buildings and moving automobiles were suspended in the air. There is no way that this is possible, I felt as though I was in a science fiction film. Just as I was going to run for help, my photo with the quote "prisoner missing If seen, immediately report to Alpha." in red emerged on what should have been walls. When everyone turned to look at me, I knew I was doomed. Before I knew it, the person who got me into this situation was there, dragging me back to what I would like to call hell.
