"Who's he? And why does it matter what he will think about us?" Neil's voice turned into deep heavy one as he icily questions me with zero emotion floating on his face.
My brows furrows, "Don't you know who he is?" I asks while keeping my palm over his hand which is holding my elbow tightly.
"No. That's why I am asking? Why he is so important? I don't give a shit who he is." He grumbles in annoyance making my eyes big as apple.
"You mister. Shut up. He is my younger brother. You forgot him?" I asks in disappointment. How can he not remember my brother?
I see his eyes turning from emotionless to as if he is remembering something and then it hit him.
"Adi?"
I give him a tight lip, "Happy realisation, Mr. Khanna."
He took a relaxing sigh, "Well, I give every damn about him." I heard him grumble underneath which I shouldn't have, but it's okay.
He gave me a cheeky smile making me baffle. His behavior sometimes leave me in stupefaction.
I shake my head, "Now come on, he will be in Delhi in next 25 minutes." I mutters while turning around towards the door as I look into my phone.
"He is what?" He ask.
"Mom told me he saw the news and is way furious over me." I reply as anxiety knocks me when I bit my lower lip.
"But how? I mean I should've got the information the time he boarded the flight." Neil says as we step out of our room.
My eyes snapped towards him in surprise, "How you would've known? I---" I cut off by the hasten footsteps.
I follows the direction of sound and watch DD and Krishna making their way through the corridor towards us. While two of the bodyguards are guarding.
"Good morning, Boss... Ma'am."
"Good morning, president...Mrs. Khanna."
Both of them greeted us while I greeted them with a smile, and my husband; he just said 'morning' in monotonous.
Well, seems like Ceo Neil Khanna possessed my husband Neil Khanna again. I shook my head on his cold behavior.
"Boss! We're trying to reach you since yesterday's night. Where is your phone?" Krishna ask in professional tone while hiding the tension in her voice. Goodness, she sounds so confident. Not only sounds, but she's way confident with herself. I like her attitude.
Neil raise his right brow as if he is remembering something.
"In my studies. I forgot it last night there." He replies in his usual cold tone but I caught him fisting his left palm.
Realisation quickly get into my senses. Last night. I quickly put my palms over his left fist to ease him.
"President, there's problem." DD informs and guess what I finally understand what they mean. I think it's about Advik.
"I know. Is security team reached airport to receive him?" Neil ask calmly making me perplex.
