It's past 6PM nang makarating kami ni Zoe sa bahay, she insisted on staying here because according to her she deserves so much of an explanation, Alexa and Tita Helen are now back so I think they'll be fine, Jared doing all the things with the police chief.
"You can take a bath first Quin, I'll just call my dad for a while" I just nodded kasi taena pagod na pagon na talaga ako.
I went to the master's bedroom and took a cold shower. After 20 minutes I'm done. Nabigla pa ako dahil paglabas ko andun sa kama si Zoe.
"What? You're like a dead body there, stiffed"
Napabuga nalang ako ng hininga at kumuha ng masusuot, pumunta naman agad siya sa banyo.
I took my laptop and started to think again how to present my business proposal, pabibo naman kasi si Zoe, di naman kelangan ganito ka detailed ang project proposals.
Biglang sumakit ang mata ko kaya gumamit ako ng glasses ko, there it's better, nasa kalagitnaan na ako ng pagtatatype at lumabas na si Zoe sa banyo, I look at the clock and mahigit 1h and 30 minutes siya sa banyo, nagriritwal ba siya dun? Nakabihis narin siya, buti same kami ng sizes sa underwear at yung closet ko puno ng stock ng Calvin Klein, halos every week nagdadala si Jared. She's wearing cute white sleeping clothes.
I'm not looking at her but I can feel her, lakad lakad lang siya sa harap while I'm typing what's needed in my paper, later on she dried her hair, ang haba nun but she managed to make it dry, umabot ata siya ng 15 minutes.
Lumabas siya ng kwarto and later on she came back with a glass of water. Nilagay niya ito sa minifridge ko dito sa kwarto, ang cute.
"Move your laptop"
Tumingala ako at tinignan siyang nagtataka, I'm here on the bed, sitting, leaning my back on the headboard, legs are straight a bit parted, and my laptop is on my legs.
"What?"
"I said move your laptop" di parin ako gumalaw kasi bakit ba anong meron? I'm working here!
She grabbed my laptop at walang pakundangang tumalikod at umupo sa kandungan ko, she leaned her body on me, fixed her hair to her left shoulder exposing her neck, and put my laptop on her now.
WHAT THE FREAKING HELL IS SHE DOING, TANGINA ANG BANGO PA, MAMAMATAY NA SIGURO AKO.
"Zo-e.."
"What? I want to see what you're doing"
"Are you aware you're giving mixed signals?"
"And you are too"
I was silenced by that, we both have personal issues, that we both know but have no courage to ask each other.
"Continue na nga, this is under my subject right? you're doing?"
"Uhhh yeah.. I am having a bit of a hard time and what kind of approach should I use in this kind of proposal, because I can't give a guarantee"
