"Who are you?" Elena questioned as she watched Rebekah and River's interaction with clear confusion.

"I'm Rebekah." Rebekah greeted, her eyes trailing over Elena with clear distaste. "Pleasure, I'm sure." She added, her tone still showing nothing but hatred. "And I take it this is the latest doppelganger. The original one was much prettier."

umm...

are they not identical?

"Rebekah." River warned earning her a playful eyeroll.

"I was only joking." Rebekah lied.

"What the fuck is a doppelganger?" Delilah deadpanned as she watched the scene in front of her play out.

"Again, language, Lila." River scolded as she turned to her younger sister.

"And you must be Delilah." Rebekah pieced together as she turned to Delilah, "I have heard so much about you."

"I'd hope so." Delilah started, "I'm rather iconic."

"Oh I can tell." Rebekah confirmed, smiling at Delilah's response. "I have something for you."

"Me?" Delilah clarified.

"Yes, you." Rebekah stated as she handed Delilah a wrapped box, "Open it later."

"She does not have the self control for that." River uttered as she saw how excited Delilah was. "Delilah why don't you show Rebekah to your room and you can open it there now." River suggested, her gaze flickering over to Rebekah for confirmation.

Delilah then let out a childish squeal before taking one of Rebekah's hands and pulling her towards the stairs. After exchanging one final glare in Elena's direction, Rebekah then followed Delilah.

"I take it she's the blonde bombshell Damon was referring to." Elena muttered once she heard Delilah's door close.

"I can't tell which one of you is more jealous and it is very amusing to me." River deadpanned.

"I'm not jealous." Elena objected.

"I saw the way you were staring down the gift Rebekah got Delilah." River countered. "She won Delilah over in a matter of seconds and it took you almost 2 years."

"I'm over that." Elena lied. "Delilah can just take a while to come around to some people. I'm pissed because she already hates me without even getting to know me." Elena tried to reason.

"She doesn't hate you." River denied.

"Yes she does."

"No, she doesn't. She's just jealous because I'm close to you." River explained, "It's a soulmate thing."

"Why isn't she jealous of Delilah then?" Elena asked.

"Because I wouldn't fuck my underage sister."

-----

"Well what do you normally do in this situation?" Rebekah questioned.

"Elena and I would go on either side and Delilah sleeps in the middle as a lesbian-sleep-feel-up preventative measure." River explained, the alcohol she had consumed in the last few hours beginning to take advantage of her mind.

"Easy." Rebekah stated, "Delilah will take Elena's spot, I'll take Delilah's spot and Elena can sleep on the floor."

"That's not happening." River deadpanned.

"Well out of all of us-" Rebekah started.

"Bekah." River warned, "Elena is not sleeping on the floor, or outside, or at her own house or any of the other locations you've suggested."
