you may not notice it
but everyone wants you around
it's because you saw how one could fall so far off the edge
that you've built yourself to who you are now
patient
self-loving
admirable
caring
selfless
and you don't give up on others

you embody them
from our favourite anime
you speak up for your friends
friendly bantering
a shoulder to cry on
you get angry for people that can't
you believe in us that we'll be okay
really
you deserve more than the world
...
it's only a matter of time
where a person will also discover these things i love about you
and act on it
...
you have yet to see the part of life
where you share a part of your life with someone else
that is why i refuse to be your first
while i've had many
i can't be responsible for breaking you
...
it's bad enough i see visions of us together
knowing full well that it'll end in disaster by my own hands
so
i'm pulling my hand back
i'll let someone else take you
because in the end
i'll never be ready for someone as amazing as you
