This is right before my original arc begins. Enjoy!

Gray and I are currently on a mission to return a precious ring someone has stolen from a millionaire. From the relationship between the two, there was some bad drama in the past.

We are both in formal attires for a special occasion that the thief hosted as it is his birthday today. He plans to display the ring as his own and brag how he bought it with his own jewels. What he doesn't know is that the ring was a gift for the millionaire's wife.

Gray and I have a set plan to take the ring from the thief. As of now, Gray and I are dancing in the ballroom, waltz dancing.

Gray is a total natural at dancing, I tell him and he grins. He's danced on ice skates while he was younger. We make some small chat with a couple compliments before the thief walks out to greet everyone. The both of us stare at the thief and notice the ring on his finger.

He makes his way down the stairs as I nod at Gray before moving closer to the thief. My plan was to catch the thief's attention due to my beauty and the gown I was wearing, which the millionaire bought for me for this special occasion. Once he notices how valuable and cute I am, he'll ask me to dance.

That's exactly he did. He eyes me up and down with a nod and smirk. I act as if I couldn't feel his stare on me and he taps on my shoulder. He compliments the hell out of me, making me want to puke. I take his hand after he offers me a dance.

On the dance floor, we were slow dancing. His rough hands gradually rake up my body as I bit my lip to prevent myself from slapping his cocky expression. He took this chance to really look at me as he bit his lips. His hands were about to touch my butt before I leaned in closer to his lips. He's surprised and releases hands around my body, preparing himself for the kiss. I grab his hands slowly then close my eyes. He's too concentrated on me as I breathed onto his lips.

I begin my attempt to take the ring off by wrapping my two fingers around the ring. A second passes before he snaps out of his trance and pulls back abruptly. He holds onto his hand and stares deeply at me. I smirk as if I knew that he was going to notice me taking his ring, but not the spell I casted on his arms.

I say my spell and air chains wrap around both his arms and roughly pull him to the nearest pole. He's locked against the pole. It would have been easy to just take the ring, but the millionaire requested us to make him suffer and give the ring willingly. He glances around and realized all the guests were suddenly gone. He was too fixated on me to realize that Shadow manage to control everyone by their shadows and make them leave without a single sound.

He spits out that he would never give up the ring, even if his life depended on it. I reply with an "Oh?" And smirk widely. My magic rips the pole out of its home as I implanted it onto the centre of the dance floor. He's shuffling around the chains, but my will to keep him there was solid since I wanted to get back at him for touching me.

I ask him to hand over the ring once and he refuses. I yell Gray before the chandelier above us comes hurtling. His eyes were bloodshot for a second until he screams wait. Shadow immediately takes a hold of the chandelier inside its shadow, while Gray grips onto the chandelier from above.

I ask him again to hand over the ring or else I will not hesitate to drop the chandelier on him. He calls my bluff but I rejected him and replied that I wasn't bluffing. He continues to refuse and clenches his hands together. I shrug then snap my fingers. The chandelier is hurtling again, but the thief doesn't say a word. He waits for me to stop the chandelier, but I don't. His eyes widen quickly from the chandelier still plummeting towards him and bellows stop as his head was a centimetre away from being smashed against it.
