On the ground
Safe and sound
Sitting under a tree
Gazing at the mountains
With the waves afar singing familiar tunes
A place to what I may know
And nothing else
Until I saw
An airplane in the clear sky
...
My eyes dazzled upon such a sceneNo one ever flies by
My feet moved on their own
As I ran after it
With no sense of direction
I chased after it
...
I've been to many places now because of this airplane
Over the mountains
Across the oceans
Through plain fields
Stumbling through bustling cities
Dancing upon volcanoes
New worlds have been unfolded
Right in front of me
Yet I have never came across the pilot of this airplane
Although I wish to
It's better this way
This space between us
...
Maybe
One day
I'll get tired of chasing
But for now
You've open the doors
To many worlds for me
Every part of who I become in these worlds
Was because of you
It was the sound of your airplane in the baby blue sky
That woke me up
And drove me away
From a world that I only knew
It was you
That helped reveal sides of me
I never would have discovered
On my own
~you belittle yourself so much to the point where you have no idea how much you have an effect on me
