Chapter 6 - Vacation

"So where do you want to spend your holiday?"

I glanced at my brother sideways and pointed at my room. He groaned and slouched beside me. 

"Magpapasko ka sa kwarto mo?"

Tumango naman ako at pinagpatuloy na ang pag dadrawing.

"Is that Rein?"

My hand stopped when I heard that. I look down at the sketchpad and furrow my eyebrows. 

"This one is prettier than her."

"But it looks like her."- He banters back and gets the sketchpad from my hand. 

He examines it while caressing his chin. His thick eyebrows curled into confusion as he looked at me.

"Are you slowly getting fond of her?"

"No, and stop with your nonsense claim.This is not her." - I said firmly and stand up. 

I can't believe he's accusing me of drawing his girlfriend.

"Huy, wait lang. Galit ka na naman e nagtatanong lang ako."

Pinaupo nya ulit ako sa couch at tinabihan. Nag drawing nalang ulit ako matapos kong punitin yung drawing ko kanina.

"Pwede ba magtanong si kuya?"

"You're already asking."

"Hindi pa. So pwede ko ba malaman kung anong masasabi mo kay ate Rein mo? Bagay naman kami di ba?"

Napahinto ulit ako sa pag guhit. Nawalan na ako ng gana kaya sinarado ko nalang iyon at tinignan siya ng seryoso.

"She's a nuisance."

"Juztine.."

"At hindi kayo bagay. Tao kayo."

Tumayo ako pero muli nya akong pinigilan kaya napaupo na naman ulit ako.

"She wants to be your friend."

"I don't need a friend."

"She's nice. In fact, she's ready to treat you as her little sister."

My lips parted, but I didn't say anything. I just cursed inwardly and he removed his hand from me. 

"Tell her that I'm not interested in being her little sister. She can date you and be close with anyone here, but spare me because I don't trust her."

"At least get to know her, please? For Kuya?"

Napabuntong hininga ako dahil nagpa awa na naman ang isang Kenz Geoffer Arden.

"Ang pangit mo."- singhal ko sa kanya at tuluyan na syang iniwan sa sala.

Umakyat na ako dala dala ang sketchpad ko. Pagkapasok ko ng kwarto ay nahiga ako at pumikit kaagad.

Bakit ba ang big deal sa kanila kung hindi ko man makasundo si Addison? As if ako ang papakasalan niya e hindi naman ako ang jowa nya.

It's ironically insulting when they asked where I wanted to be but still decided on their own about this so-called vacation in another country. My choice is really not that important at home.

Now I'm standing at the airport with my own luggage. I find it weird, especially that everyone here is glancing at me like I'm some kind of celebrity. Maybe because of my looks since I'm the only one wearing all black attire right now. 

"Sino pa ba ang inaantay?"- naiinip na tanong ko.

"Si Rein, pero malapit na daw sya dito."

Tinanggal ko ang salamin ko at kunot noong tinignan sila. Busy si Dad sa phone nya at si mommy naman ay nakatitig sa kuko nya kaya si Kuya lang yung nakakita ng nagsusungit kong tingin.
