As soon as the chopper landed on the helipad, numerous guards came out from different directions.
I look at my wife, who's moving quickly to undo her seatbelt but failing because she's trembling.
"Ako na."- seryosong sambit ko dito at hinawakan ang kamay nya para kumalma sya.
Kanina pa sya walang kibo at ngayon na nakalapag na kami ay saka lang sya parang natauhan kaya aligaga kung kumilos. Nang matanggal ko ang seatbelt nya ay lumabas kaagad sya dahil nabuksan na yung pinto.
Napabuntong hininga ako at tahimik lang na sumunod.
"Welcome back po sa inyo, Ma'am."- bati ng pamilyar na guard sa akin. "Kami po ang pinadala ng parents nyo para i-escort po kayo pauwi."
So that explains why my parents aren't here, or maybe they're in the hospital too to visit Mr. Elin.
He touched something in his earpiece, and later on, a car came in front of us.
"Addison."- tawag pansin ko sa katabi ko na nakatitig sa phone nya. Hinawakan ko pa ito sa bewang nya na ikinakislot nya. Halatang wala sa amin ang atensyon nya kaya napabuntong hininga ulit ako.
"Let's go? They're must be waiting for us."- dagdag ko pa at iginiya na sya papasok sa nakabukas na sasakyan.
Nang makapasok kami sa loob ay nag kanya kanya na din pasok sa kanilang sasakyan ang mga guards na nakapalibot.
The whole drive is quiet, and I can feel that with each passing second, she's becoming more agitated. Her body movements and eyes say it all. She's worried about what possible things await her once we get out of this car.
She looked back at me after feeling my hand on top of her lap, slightly squeezing it to indirectly say to her that I'm here and she's not alone.
As if on cue, she went closer to me and rested half of her weight on me. Nuzzling her face into my neck to find comfort.

"Dad!"- she said as soon as we entered the private room after the guards opened the door for us.
Our parents were there and probably really waiting for us to arrive because they didn't seem shocked to see us here.
Tinakbo ni Addison ang distansya nila at yumakap sa daddy nyang nakahiga sa kama. Sinalubong naman ako nina mom and dad ng yakap na sinuklian ko lang ng tipid na ngiti.
"May balita na ba kay Kuya?"- mahinang tanong ko kay Dad.
"I underestimated your brother. He's good at hiding, my dear."- he said while shaking his head in disappointment.
"Mom?"
She sighs and holds onto my arm. "Wala talagang lead anak kung na saan sya. Pero ramdam ko na buhay sya. Sana nga bumalik nalang sya ng kusa para hindi na kami nag iisip kung anong lagay nya."
Lumapit pa si Dad ng kaunti sa akin at seryoso akong tinitigan.
"Bakit? Seryoso ka pa din ba na iiwanan mo si Rein kapag bumalik ang Kuya mo?"
Hindi ko alam pero may bahid ng lungkot ang boses ni dad matapos sabihin iyon. Stoic man ang expression nya ay ramdam mo naman yung emosyon sa boses nya.
I look at both of them. My mother obviously doesn't like that idea of mine. I balled my fist and clenched my jaw as I stared at them seriously.
"No. She's mine."
