Hope is a tribird daughter of Niklaus Mikaelson and Haley Marshall-Kenner she is the granddaughter of Ansel, Esther Mikaelson and two unnamed werewolves. She is also the step-granddaughter of Mikael; she is the niece of Freya, Finn, Elijah, Kol, Rebekah, and Henrik Mikaelson. She is also the grand-niece of Dahlia hope was born January 4th of 3012 at Saint Anne's Catholic Church Hope has the blood of an original vampire and she would be an original vampire Haley died in childbirth but hopes blood was in her system which turned her into a hybrid like Klaus. After Hope's birth she had to be sent away from New Orleans and had to be raised by her aunt Rebekah in order for her to be protected from the Mikaelson enemies, the witches wanted to kill hope so that they could take her power and kill her to please their ancestors and because Esther Mikaelson promised the witches that the first born of her family can be sacrificed.
