(Ayako's POV)

I was walking down the familiar passageway, but I was too distracted to know where I was heading.

What is with this guy?

Why do I get so overwhelmed thinking about him?

My mind was occupied with questions. I could think of nothing else.

Maybe that was the very reason why it had totally slipped from my mind. . .

I had---more accurately, Riko had volunteered to carry some sport equipment to the field today. . .

And she shoved the responsibility at me.

"Oh my god..." I mumbled.

I had to go all the way back to the staff room now, and I was in no mood to face Jayden again. My social quota for the day was full, thanks to him.

Before I could fuss more, I spotted the sight of a big, ancient clock.

The class had already started!

"WAAAAAAAH!"

I could hear myself panick.

How could I be late?

I remember leaving the class at dot 6:15.

I was surprised that I had just wasted 15 minutes in the staff room.

I had to rush.

Leaving all my thoughts behind, I rushed back to the room.

There was nobody this time, the office was empty.

I wasted no time gathering the equipments.

Surprisingly, the equipments weren't that big of a deal.

I imagined them to be oversized and heavy, but they were just a few handful of colourful cones used for positioning in sport drills.

I wiped a drop of sweat off my face.

I still had no time to waste.

It won't be much of a surprise if I got scolded on the first day of the session.
