"Jayden. . ." I pleaded, "Please tell me what's going on. What're you hiding?" I spoke as politely I could. He frowned, and turned his head away. I was in tears.

This is the end. . . I figured it all out. And now he's about to get rid of me.

"Since I know it's the end of me, tell me where you belonged from."

"What?" He wore a confused expression.

"Don't tell me you don't know from which realm you are in the first place. Oh good Lord, gimme a break."

"Sorry, Ayako. I don't know why you're annoyed but I. . ." He bent his head down slowly, "I need to do this."

"What!? You're kidding me. Are you gonna kill me now?" I was shocked. There was not reply for his side. Suddenly, I heard that weird sound again and I felt something strike my head. I felt light and. . . It was all over.

(Jayden's POV)

I dropped down the floor, next to Ayako. She lay across the floor, her eyes shut tight but her body felt free. I guess she would feel relieved again after forgetting all this. I don't know what exactly are this power's side effects, or if she would ever have flashbacks about this. But if she's ever upto something, she would always end of forgetting it. Sad, right?

I scoffed at her unconscious body. I gently grasped her wrist and felt the pulse.

Still alive. . .

I shifted her into a corner and grasped open the metal box. An ancient
pitch-black book lay inside.

"My Death Note. . . My precious book. . ." I held it close to my chest. "It's perfect. Everything's perfect, everything's going according to plan!" I rejoiced.

(Ayako's POV)

"Aah. . . My head." I drowsily held my head again, rubbing it with my palm. "My head. . . It feels like I hit something hard."

"You've been saying that since the past 30 minutes. I guess that's something to be concerned about." Riko murmured.

"But you do not look concerned." I glared at her, "Why don't you just call Myura? I'm sure this isn't- Ouch!" Riko rubbed some antiseptic on my forehead.

"Eek, so I was saying. . . Isn't this something I shall report to her ASAP?"

She gave it a thought but still remained consistent, "But first you need to be alive. And look at you; you're hardly holding on." She finished with a look of concern.

I forced a smile and said, "Oh my dear Riko, I am alive and I am okay. This is just a headache, even if severe. I can bear with it--But we should let her kno-"

"I already texted her," Riko said, holding on to her phone. I grinned, "Good."

I sighed of relief and suddenly held her palm. I was in pain, and she knew it. She leaned in closer for a hug, but as soon as I could do that, I felt a sudden urge.

"Riko. . . This feeling, I know it!" My eyes lit up. "This is. . . Just how I felt that day at the field when that guy had attacked me."

Riko gasped and managed to say, "Are you telling me that-"

"Jayden belongs from the Dark Realm, now confirmed." I finished with satisfaction.
